  1. I'm posting this for my mom. It is a 2002 Avalanche with the 8.1 which has been supercharged. Nearly fully-loaded with just over 100,000 miles. No rust anywhere. Tread is about 50-70%. Working 4x4 with no issues. Leather is in good shape. The bad and mom does want to emphasize this so no one is surprised. The Whipple charger is causing issues that mom does not want to fiddle with. It throws CELS sporadically and the engine does go in limp mode once in a while. With our research, it seems that it needs a tune to better accommodate the forced induction better than the piggyback that Whipple did provide. I have a strong feeling a visit to Dyno Brian or IPS will fix the issue right away. Again, mom doesn't want to spend the time fixing it. We do have a paper printout from a forum that had the same issues with the steps he took to fix it. She is asking for what she paid for it. 10,500. Pm me or leave a post here and I will give you the contact info Pictures a bit later
  2. The camera I have is a Sony Cyber-shot dsc-wx9
  3. I have a point and shoot camera. I forgot the brand as its my moms and I do not own a camera. My question is does point and shoot cameras have the ability to change shutter speed or something along those lines? I want to try rolling shots I know nothing other than to push the button to take pictures.
  4. I had headlight sprayers on my old Saab and used rain x. Never noticed any issues at all. I washed that Saab all the time so that may have helped prevent any discoloration (if there was any)
  5. What are the crappy daily drivers you have?
  6. Holy hell. Those are the tips I want for my Saab. What p/n are those?
  7. What other brake pad is good that gives great bite with minimal dusting. I should clarify on the mushy thing. It isn't exactly mushy but it feels like the pads just can't grip onto the rotor.

  9. The rotors still have meat on them, I was just going to check the thickness and if plenty, turn them
  10. My Saab has larger brakes compared to my old Saab but it stops like jones mom, slow and mushy. I was looking at EBC for possible pad replacements. Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them.
  11. Should make it street-legal for shits and giggles
  12. Typical CR Non-CR members with C7s: "that guy is a dumbass for getting a fugly car, would rather have a C6 or Sex with my sister" "stupidest car ever made" "Looks like it has Down's syndrome" CR members with C7s: "Awesome!" "Sexy!" "Love it!"
  13. I like the frontier better especially when it's luxuried up a bit
  14. I want to build a mid-70s Ford F100 (or 150 whatever it's called) and put a blower that sticks through the hood and drive it exactly as I found it minus the essential tuneups and fluid changes
  15. Sad to see this go, was one of my favorite vehicles on here. Glws

  17. Off the top of my head, no. It has triggered the MAF, TPS, and lean bank 1 and 2 codes. It seems like the only fix as I mentioned before is larger injectors and a tune which my parents are not interested in doing.
  18. The problem is that it's Setting off the cel while NOT towing.
  19. Hmm. Not feeling those as well. Didn't they have the option of having cross laces?
  20. I do not like the wheels. I would rather stock wheels
  21. Seriously? I can't tell if for real
  22. I honestly have no idea. They won't let me touch or drive it. I did suggest taking it to IPS for diagnosis and repair ( and a tune) but it fell on deaf ears. Pun intended.
  23. Just thought I would update this. They are experiencing problems with the Whipple system. Apparently it was common as a few people have complained. We are constantly getting a cel that points to either or both the throttle and maf sensors. From what I've gleaned from the forums is that it's experiencing too much airflow and the fuel system cannot keep up. People who had this fixed the issue by upgrading to larger marine injectors and a lot of tuning. Ultimately, they are not interested in doing this and are looking at reverting it back to stock
  24. I would go for the Jeep. It offers more options of goin camping with the dogs and the wife or partake in fun jeep adventures. They're always almost held in California. I like the FR-S as much as the next guy but a Jeep is simply charming
