  1. Yeah, Shazier was pretty thin last year but still played like a beast when he finally got on the field. Think they said he's put on at least 17lbs. of muscle. Loved when he called out Sabino in the circle drill then just demolished him. Should still be getting another commitment today from Mike Heuerman. Maybe not though as it's getting kinda late but everyone's been waiting for it.
  2. Shaun of the Dead is my all-time favorite movie.
  3. OSU picked up 2 commitments the last 2 days in DL Tracy Sprinkle and QB JT Barrett. Barrett is big-time to me. Lots of people in Texas actually prefer him to the QB Texas got committed early. Should be 3-4 more commits by the end of the month potentially including 5-star DE Joey Bosa out of FL.
  4. I got front-ended by a lady in a DQ drive thru one time. Her kids were being brats so she decided to leave and just backed right up into me not having seen that I was back there in my old, tiny Corolla. Front bumper was already busted from something else (if I was a douche probably could have gotten that fixed out of this). Told her it was already messed up so don't worry about it and backed out so she could leave.
  5. Video and presser stuff from yesterday's practice... just came across it and thought it was good. http://vimeo.com/40201785 Really like some of the stuff I see there from TY Williams. Yesterday was the offense's first W on a win/loss day of practice this spring so Urban was happy.

    Cane's......

Boom, headshot. I do something similar. I usually get the Caniac, no slaw, extra toast. Put some sauce on both slices of toast and 1 chicken finger and eat each one like that. Then dip the remaining 4 fingers and fries in the remaining sauce... like a bauce. Cane's just came into Pickerington last summer basically right across from my office and I ate there way too much. Have taken it down to about once or twice a month now.
  7. And here's what the spring game will be like... I think I said somewhere in here that it would be a mix of what OSU used to to and what OSU had to do last season with so few OL and that's kinda what it is. A controlled scrimmage but there will be 2 teams with a draft instead of just offense vs. defense. I'm pretty sure this is what Urban did at Florida.
  8. Post from nevada about Miller receiving actual QB coaching this spring... So hopefully no more of the ducks alittlelessordinary loves so much. :lolguy:
  9. Pretty much anyone who is "connected" or has "inside info" from OSU said they had Foster favoring OSU coming into his most recent visit. After that visit no one thinks he ends up at OSU. Pitt or Bama. Supposedly Foster showed no interest whatsoever in the academic portion of his visit and tweeted stuff about the "old heads" boring him and the friend he was visiting with to death and how they couldn't stop laughing at them. Foster and his friend/teammate were supposedly scolded by their principal upon their return to school and they deleted the tweets. If Foster realizes the mistake he made on the visit and everything gets smoothed over then OSU might re-open the door but right now they've moved on.
  10. The staff contacted Heuerman before Baugh's commitment went public to let him know and see how he feels. Then at least one recruiting site contacted Heuerman after it went public to get his reaction as well and it looks like all things are still looking good for OSU getting Heuerman's commitment before the end of the month. The TE I think OSU won't get now is Josh McNeil out of NC. He is friends with 2012 LB commit Jamal Marcus and they were supposed to drive up for the spring game next weekend but Marcus decided to fly and McNeil can't get a ticket and won't be visiting now. That happening, getting the Baugh commitment and still looking good for Heuerman = no McNeil IMO. The biggest concerns with Heuerman right now seem to be potentially wanting to stay closer to home (not ND) and still the prospect of having to maybe compete with his brother a bit. Regardless, the TE position will not suffer under Urban...lol. This commit came out of no where.
  11. Thomas staying for another year. The offense largely revolving around him is more Matta's style than a true big IMO. Likely starting lineup... G - Craft G - Smith G - Thompson F - Thomas C - Williams
  12. Also looks like I double posted again. :lolguy:
  13. So it looks like he "quit" then had a one on one with Meyer shortly after and smoothed things over. Wouldn't have been much of a loss since he's not even starting over 2 sophomores and a junior as a RS junior but glad he's sticking it out I guess.
  14. Strong rumor out there that I double post 90% of the time now
  15. Strong rumor out there that Chris Fields quit the team after today's practice.
  16. League scoring average has hovered between 95-100 since the mid-90's. Most recent statistic I could find for this season had scoring at 94.7 per game.
  17. Love lines like these from people who probably haven't watched the NBA since Jordan played.
  18. Not sure if the Lazard thing is official yet. Rivals may have jumped the gun a bit. But his name started popping up as the possible next guy in yesterday afternoon. Wonder if they stop on the OL with Lisle, Lazard and Pocic. And I'm mostly with you when it comes to looking at offers vs. stars but sometimes who knows what offers are real and which are not. It's incredibly murky even on the OSU side of things now with Meyer doing things waaaaay differently than Tressel did.
  19. Sully announcing that he's leaving at 2:15. Kid's got a lot of work to do to have any effect at the NBA level.
  20. Yeah, pretty cool story with Burger. Dad and grandpa went to ND I believe, he had scholarship offers from Cincy and some MAC schools, was academically accepted to Harvard, etc. and is just like... fuck it... OSU it is.
  21. Yeah, I don't know why Jaylon Smith is so high on ND. Supposedly he loves Manti Te'o. If Heuerman doesn't end up at OSU part of the reason I've read is that he doesn't want to compete against his brother. Unlike Rod and Jaylon, Mike and Jeff play the same position. But even if Mike comes and doesn't redshirt he'd only compete with his brother for 2 years at most.
