  1. lol I got negative rep from this thread from someone pimping Quality Tint.
  2. This person received 2 lungs from one of the victims... http://imgur.com/a/L5zru#zgfAs Something OK coming out of an awful situation.
  3. I was kinda on Team Don't Do Anything NCAA but their class has been way too good through all of this so I say fuck 'em. Will gladly take Dorian Johnson from their class.
  4. The $~3/month we end up paying for Xbox Live with the online deals are really breaking the bank.
  5. Sorry to those of you who thought he was imitating Bane, apparently he told the police that he was the Joker. Dude was a shitty Joker. Says he dyed his hair red... JOKER'S HAIR IS GREEN RETARD.
  6. Yeah, Kiffin is really tearing it up. Will be interesting to see how they do now with their scholarship limitations really starting to kick in soon. Also, can't believe this but we're just a few short weeks away from fall camp kicking off and a month and a half away from kickoff... holy shat.
  7. I'm really starting to think that Urban came in a little peeved by the fact that his coming to OSU was pretty well-known long before it officially happened (and the coverage of the "rumor" really ramped up in the week leading up to The Game) and he's subsequently put a tight lid on "inside" info at least for now. Like you said, these kids are coming relatively out of no where. Luckily I no longer pay for any of the services. Have friends with freebies on 247 and Rivals then I myself have a freebie on Scout so it's all covered...lol.
  8. Just looked it up, he's #1 in the country in the 400 and #2 in the 200. He fast.
  9. OSU just got a commitment from Taivon Jacobs. 2* on Scout (which one of their national guys admits is a mistake because he's just a kid who slipped through the cracks with them, will be bumped to at least 3* immediately), 3* on Rivals and 4* on ESPN. Says Urban wants to use him like Chris Rainey. Similar size, similar speed. He's a nationally ranked runner in the 200 and 400 I believe.
  10. Another vote for A2Z and Yousef.
  11. Haha... I was sitting there like... Walt's gonna think about using magnets. Then Jesse just sits back there trying to get a word in between Walt and Mike and of course it's him. And his explanation of how it would work was hilarious.
  12. Also they just added season 4 to Netflix for those who are still trying to catch up.
  13. Tonight's the night.
  14. I thought the 1st episode was good. Like you said, much better than at least the 2nd season of the TV series. Downloaded the 2nd episode a week or so ago and haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
  15. Trailer from Comic Con for season 3... not gonna lie... I'm fucking pumped.
  16. Zombies playing chess... BRILLIANT. PUT THAT IN THE SHOW.
  17. Was talking with some other friends about the show a couple days ago with the season 3 preview coming up and said basically the same thing. Wouldn't be surprised if they end up being a love story at this rate...lol.
  18. Kirkman seemed legitimately surprised on the show last night when they talked about Merle coming back. He was just like, "Oh... we're spoiling that? OK then..." Guy doesn't want to answer anything really (and I don't blame him - why would you want to give away large plot points to a season that's still 3 months away from airing?) and then the producer there next to him is all matter of fact... "I'm going to spoil this now, and this... and this." Kirkman needs to put his foot down more so they stop ruining his story.
  19. It ended OK. But from like episode 3-11 it was awful. In the comics they weren't at the farm very long. They should have spent maybe 4-5 episodes at the farm then moved on to the prison storyline and maybe ended the season with a mysterious intro of the Governor. They seem to be aware of the terribly slow pacing and fans not liking it though because they say it's going to be pretty crazy this season. I'm still hoping that last season was just such a mess because of the Darabont situation. Have you read the comics?
  20. DVR'ed it and about to watch. Season 2 was just so terrible. If they screw up the prison/Governor storylines then I'm just done with the show.
  21. It's not out of this world. The NCAA requires just a 2.00 GPA. Then for the SAT/ACT it's a sliding scale. If you have a 3.0 you would only need a 620 on the SAT...lol. So ND and schools like them will require maybe a 2.5 or a 2.25 and have their own sliding scale. I don't really know if the actual requirements for individual schools are out there. I think that would be something they may want to keep private so they can evaluate kids on a case by case basis and maybe let a few in below their own standards but still above the NCAA requirements.
  22. There are different standards out there. There is an absolute minimum (which the SEC lives by) and then there are schools like Northwestern, Stanford, ND, etc. Even OSU had higher standards for about half of Tressel's stay here (under Holbrook). He was only allowed maybe 1 exception a year if he really wanted it (Ray Small for example). Then Gee came in and OSU was able to bring in several borderline kids a year. And obviously under Meyer and Gee now that will stay the same.
  23. Since Kelly has been at ND they have landed the same number of 5* defensive players as OSU. Under Weis they landed plenty of really nice offensive players but couldn't get the defensive ones because, and this is just true, defensive players are just dumber. They couldn't get them into school. Under Kelly they've loosened up a bit as far as athletes' academics are concerned and now he can land some big-time defensive players. Linemen especially. That's why the SEC is so good. They have gigantic, athletic swamp monsters who can't count to potato manning their DL's and they can get them in when others can't.
