Don't let the nay-sayers dissuade anyone here from looking into solar. 1. Current systems tie into the grid, no batteries required. 2. Battery technology is growing by leaps and bounds for future off grid use. 3. Systems can be leased, decreasing costs to resident 4. Germany, which has a climate much like ours, is one of the biggest solar producing countries in the world. The faster we get off our dependence on fossil fuels, the better. The only reason I don't have them is because of the way my house is facing in relation to the sun. My roof has a east/west orientation and the neighboring houses are taller than mine.

Looking for a new roof myself. Having some issues with nail pop on a few shingles. Roof was done in 99. I started calling around for normal roofers. Called Ascent, Able, Muth, Apco, Altas, and Superior. (CR recommendations are not roofing anymore) Haven't heard back from Superior and Able didn't answer. Still waiting on most estimates, but Atlas came out on Friday. The guy who came out ended up hopping on my roof and fixing what he saw wrong FOR FREE! Gave me an estimate that I expected and told me about some installation errors from the last installers. Not sold on Atlas yet, but they are doing the right things.

tune is going to be the key for this sort of thing. there are a lot of good tuners around. The Eric's that used to work for Covert, Byran and Corey at Slowmo, Dom at TIC in Cincy. The only one I haven't had personal experience with is Dom, but he has a great rep in the Subie community

i was at the time. unopened subaru blocks, with GOOD/GREAT tunes, are stout. the stock long block STI record is something stupid, like 590whp on a mustang dyno and ran a 9.77 at +140mph

I had a ATP stock location GT3071 on my sti at one point. It was good for 380whp on pump, but it was a little laggy. If I were to look today, I'd look into a forced performance 71HTZ (whatever it's called) or blouch 18g-xt.
