Check out Grandview Heights, about as close to downtown as you can get for a separate municipality, cool little uptown area with lots of food/drink options, 2 square miles, great home values and schools.
I could do it....no wife, no girlfriend, no kids. The only thing keeping from doing a epic journey is my jobs. I have 5 more years before I am vested in my pension, and 5 more years before my national guard retirement.
But the biggest keeping from picking up is not having savings for retirement.
I really like Toyota and the Tacomas especially, the new look is fantastic. The silky smooth V6 shared with the rest of the family can't be a bad thing.
But.... I would have a hard time picking a Taco over a new F150 with a 2.7tt. With Ford incentives, prices are about even. Buying through Ricart gives the Ford lifetime power train warranty.
Nice pick up nonetheless!
If you doing anything more a stage 2 or a flex fuel setup, open source tuning is your best bet. Get a tactrix cable and track down Bryan Mundy for a road tune. Econ maps on Cobbs are beyond slow and you'll have to drive +30,000 miles in Econ mode before you recoup your AP cost.
Basically no aftermarket support for 3.0/3.6 other than intakes/exhaust/suspension.
My second to last ride cost me $107 for a "2 mile" trip. It was longer than 2 miles. The driver forgot to stop the ride and went home for the night. It said I was in the car for 7 hours. Took about week before the claim was settled. My only bad experience so far, but now I know to remind the driver to end the ride.
6 cylinder, Manual. Lots of recent service. New tires last year.
Asking price: $9500
