  1. I might have a few I'll look around. I'm sure this falls into I'm a hoarder of everything.
  2. Get it cleaned up, and running. Then see if we can make a mockery of things around here. Yup.
  3. Any new pics? This thing needs to be blaring Waylon Jennings.
  4. Yeah, different motor. I got some of the parts from that one in the spare parts box too. This one is out of a 95, hence the CAS issue. Thnks for the heads up though.
  5. I've been trying to get on one for a while, and I couldn't pass it up. How's the wheels?
  6. I just spit soda all over the place.
  7. Where do I begin? The last quickie project went pretty well. A lot of cleaning, painting, and powder coating. Given the small outlay in cash, parts pile digging, bartering, and trading I'd call it a success. So here we go again. I have no real explanation for why I ended up in this position but I traded a perfectly good car for a non-running DSM. That's the best way to explain it. No convincing me not to do it, I wanted it and that was it. I'm gonna name it Grimace. It's bulbous, purple, and bound to be a little dumb. What it came with: Lowish mileage 7 bolt, EVO III 16G, FMIC, ACT clutch, Greddy Timer, XS boost controller, big Injectors, a box of random parts to be installed, EVO IX wheels, and FWD. Largely stock, Give the state of the car I'm hoping to have it back together relatively quick to see if it'll run. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture190.jpghttp://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture190.jpg Needs some love for sure. Or a whole lot of Powder Coating.. Check the MAd Tight USDM Broom Stick Hood Prop. http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture191.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture192.jpg Cleaninsh Interior http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture194.jpg Nasty Hatch http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture200.jpg Legit Turbo http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture159.jpg Am I really gonna leave the wheels alone? Nope http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture209.jpg Carbon Fiber Hood. Will a body guy be able to fix something like this? http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture213.jpg After finally getting it on the tow dolly, but not before destroying the front bumper.. Chris (Major Payne) went along with me and as always is a huge help. Even though he doesn't like the BBQ Rib Sammich from Rump Rangers Fuel Mart.. I call it heaven on a bun. I always promise an adventure when you go on a road trip with the Patter$on. This round did not disappoint. http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture153.jpg Here are the left overs/stuff needing to be installed http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture214.jpg And as before, during the last journey to get a car there were wild animals along the road. Seriously, who's gonna let their goat wander along I-70? Oh yeah people from Springfield. The initial work list will go like this: Get a new D/S axle Install the down pipe New Fluids Figure out the CAS ordeal (easy fix) Get an ECU Fix the FMIC mounting issue. Correct the Nose Bleed Stance Tune it Break it Rebuild it Break it Paint it Break it Part it out For what I want to do with this, I like to PO's idea of the cut out with the stock exhaust. Nice'n quiet. But I'm sure I'll end up with something a little larger. Figure out how to keep it quiet and leave the cut out in place. Maybe run a larger DP and leave the rest. I dunno. I still have plenty of VW's in house, and I have AAA. So being stranded won't be too much of a worry. I'd like for this to end up being a very clean car when I'm done. Paint will be very high on the list. But for now I'll just get it running under its own power. I will say pushing a GST around is a lot easier than pushing a GSX around.. Flame away gents. I hope Dennis will be as happy with WTF as I was. It was an awesome car but I was not planning on keeping it.
  8. Westerville is like walking into the Lion's Den with a steak around your neck. As a teenager I was quite the scourge around here. Hopefully this will have a happy ending.
  9. Metric Racers. I like that. Very classy.
  10. Welcome Cool truck, but it scares me a little... http://www.yourprops.com/norm-43fb82418d263-Jeepers+Creepers+%282001%29.jpeg
  11. Hard way to learn a lesson. Kinda like grabbing a hot stove. You'll never do it again on purpose. You might catch the DA in a good mood.
  12. Don't the signs usually say 250? Was it a construction zone also?
  13. Tested tonight, the speakers work, and the Amp/Mixer powers up.
  14. I will now refer to myself in the third person forever....
  15. On a B4 look next to the steering column on the dash face. It'll have a outline of a engine getting struck by lightning. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z139/dubdojo/car%20parts/DSCF0512.jpg
  16. Tv's dont have outputs. They arent sources. You have to run from the cable box to the tv as well as the vcr using RCA cables ( Red, white, yellow). All you need is a RCA splitter. Very cheap. OR just buy her the package that includes the DVR.
  17. You missed a spot. J/K, looks awesome. Come get the 6. The lot refused to do a detail after I bought it."Too cold"..
