  1. Thanks Shanton. Met John, super cool guy.
  2. Your right. But with the recoil of Ar's and the real difference you feel is negligible, i would rather be able to shoot 1000 than 100. Not trying to talk him out, but hope hes just aware thats all. The nice thing about the AR is how easily you can swap the 22 and 556 around. Keep the 556 at home and the 22 for the range.
  3. I hope you know how much it costs to shoot 5.56 right? You can shoot a thousand .22 for the price of 100 556
  4. I know nothing about these. A friend moved recently and gave them to me. I really have no way to test them so I'll sell em cheap. No more hoarding for me. I'm gonna call it 200.00 for the lot. http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture005-1.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture004-1.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture003-1.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture002-1.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture001-1.jpg
  5. Before you do anything, send it to spoof@ebay.com. I've gotten a ton of emails from "ebay" and "paypal" lately. See if it was a fake or not.
  6. Either way for the ultra paranoid. Cool though.

  8. I decided a few years ago that actually knowing how to diagnose a car is a lost art. New generation mechanics wanna throw parts at it til its fixed.
  9. Mostly random VW and a few V8 parts. I have SBC Factory L79 Cast Iron Intake I've had it for years from a old Stock Eliminator car 20.00 A bag full of Holley 780 pn 3310-0 parts, and 4780-2 800 DP parts. I hadn't looked at them in years but they were pretty nasty then. Free Good flywheel, and Clutch from ABA approx 140K Free I forgot about this! Holley Red Pump Marine Approx 16 hrs run time 40.00 There are a bunch more parts, but I need to trim down the inventory. I've got so much I can't remember what I've got. I'll update with what I find and as parts are sold.
  10. Do it. I bought one for the Fam and they love it.
  11. Everybody had to start somewhere, and I must have read these books a millions times from age 9-20. My Uncle is thinning down his collection of manuals and books. He gave these to me since he figured I'd want them. Most of the stuff in there is 40+ years old. Technologies, Theory, but the basics always remain the same for any car. Either way I figured I'd share. http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/Picture189.jpg
  12. Bought her the Mazda 6, Nook Color, leather cover for said Nook, Watch, BN gift card for books, and a Necklace.

  14. And gone. Went to it's new home in Dayton. Hopefully the new owneer will have as much fun as I did on this project. Next up: Project ZOMFG!!!!!
  15. Given the mileage, I'd say between 11-13K. I'm guessing it was crazy clean, and well cared for, but the mileage would be considered on the high side.
  16. Lock it up. This one is nestled in the driveway awaiting Sunday morning. Oh the fun of another Project...
  17. Pondering as to why I traded a perfectly good running VW for a DSM.
  18. What exactly were you Googling to find that???
  19. I have photoshop if you want it. Actually it's the whole adobe suite
  20. I was going through my Photobucket a little bit ago, and found this pick of my sons bike from a couple of years ago. I guess when you're into cars and have a stock pile of left overs and never used stuff, the fertile mind of the kid takes off. When he got a new bike for his birthday this year the neighborhood asked if he was gonna modify it, to which he replied maybe just a few mods, nothing major though. Personally the large use of zip-ties leads me believe he's gonna own a DSM or two... http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/006.jpg?t=1293075314
  21. I'll get in on this. I've fought the belly for so long, I'm tired of it. Funny this comes up, three weeks ago I went into the ER cause I hadn't been doing my meds properly. (i.e. Chest Pains) My BP was 200/147. I will say it scared the shizz out of me. When they weighed me I was quite pissed. So here we go. Name--------------- Erik Starting Weight------292lbs Current Weight------292lbs Starting Total Measurement------ ? Current Measurement-------------?
