I push every day for a better 10 mile time, its just so hard in the city with lights and stop signs, even though I rarely stop, just slow down till it changes green it kills the momentum, my best is right at 30.38 though I know if I did it on a flat track no stops I could get it down to 27-28 min.

I am 6'2 and 32-34 inseam, 185 lbs, and ride a 56 and love it. I love how I can flick the bike around at will. I usually avg 20 mph on flat ground and 16-18 over a 20 mile ride around town, higher on the paths. Although I have rode a 56 for like 15 years, (I am 30) so I am really used to it. I think its more what "feels" right for you.

I think its cool, and bumper pool is very fun and takes some skill.

Like I said I went before it was on tv, but it was still busy. Although we got to sit outside because it was summer, much more room out there.

Glad you liked Lucky's I don't mind paying for "good food".

http://luckyscafe.com/ Probably too far away though. They are great for breakfast. Oh and the food that came out actually looked exactly like the pics below. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2446/3991122002_e06fc871f7.jpg Gingerbread Waffles by bizdevguyjrh, on Flickr Best Mac and Cheese I have ever had. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3442/3990364203_b66a580215.jpg Lucky's Baked Mac & Cheese by bizdevguyjrh, on Flickr

Really awesome video gives a good idea of what its like!

I don't think it was fake, just not all in one shot like there last music video. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they'd play the right note no matter where they were struck

Just came out, although its not shot in one take its pretty impressive.

To be honest this can be done, BUT.... some towers would sound really good in that big room, unfortunately IMO (repeat IMO) that would be all you would get for 1k, would be the two towers. You would still need at least 500 for a reciever and would not have a sub, center or 2 surrounds. Again (IMO) When it comes to home theater if this is your main viewing room (which it looks like it is by the nice tv and size of room) I would start to piece together a system that will make you happy for a very long time, rather than by a sub-par system that may not be as reliable in the long run. Personally with my taste I like the Klipsch RF 62 towers. Now this is only if you like horn speakers, (they can be a little more of an aquired taste and possibly a little harsher on the ears after extended listening periods.) http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RF-62-Reference-Floorstanding-Speaker/dp/tech-data/B00415E7FE But for the price they are often compared with the Paradigm Studio 100's which you will not be able to find for sale online for two reasons. 1. Paradigm only authorizes sale through store front dealers. 2. People like them and want to keep them. So you can find some used pairs on http://app.audiogon.com/ but none new on amazon. Either way they are about twice as much new and were made the same year as the RF 62's originals. (The link I gave you was for the new RF-62 II's) I truly believe that with the awesome room you have if you take your 1k and start buying the pieces to put this system together, in the end you will be much happier. (and you may be able to get two great sounding towers and a receiver fairly quickly and enjoy without surround sound till you get the rest.) My ideal system for under $3500 Towers: http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RF-62-Reference-Floorstanding-Speaker/dp/B00415E7FE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top $480 each Center: http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RC-62-Center-Channel-Speaker/dp/B0040QS8R2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328157557&sr=1-1 $550 Surrounds http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RS-52-Black-Surround-Speaker/dp/B0041GI830/ref=pd_vtp_e_5 $400 Each Sub http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RW-12D-12-Subwoofer-Each/dp/B000UVWIO0 $425 Reciever.... Anything around $500 should power this nicely, Yamaha, Denon. etc. Wiring $200 Total $3435 The system on Klipsch.com http://www.klipsch.com/rf-62-ii-home-theater-system The prices on Amazon fluctuate a lot sometimes and you can get good deals on this stuff. But if you do have to stay under 1k some of their other systems can still be great. http://www.klipsch.com/synergy A good quote from the Amazon review... "I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would strongly recommend the RF 62 II to anyone who is in the market to build a high quality home theater system without breaking the bank." "You have to remember that speakers are an investment. Materials and construction may improve over time, but the core technology hasn't and probably won't. A great sounding speaker today, if treated well, will still be a great sounding speaker 20 years from now."

Graphic...Drop the Weapon...

If that dude could take a tazer to the face and pull it out without going down, AND pepper spray, I would think he might have a good chance at getting a nice swing on that dog and possibly killing it. A fully trained K9 is worth 10's of thousands of dollars. I would have shot too vs sending k9 in. -
Is that her natural eye color (editing)? Almost looks purple. If so very pretty, not in a pedo way... :dumb:

In all honesty the PS3 has one of the best blu ray players out there, not even including the benefits of the system and you get the extra HD space you could store some movies on...

Draco see my post above, Fantec makes amazing wheels for the Xbox, easily as good as if not better than the G27
-
It's really not a "toy" at this point, I have had wheels before, mounted to coffee tables, desk etc, you will never be truly happy until you have a good chair to sit in and play. If you have a good PC though it's all worth it as there are some amazing sims out there, way better than GT5 and Forza. Maybe not graphics wise, but the stuff that counts, physics and track realism blow console games out of the water. GTR Evolution for example, and iRacing. http://www.gtr-evolution.com/ http://www.iracing.com/

Well shit I had not looked at Fantec wheels in a while, it seems they are compatible. http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_usa/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=4186aa6abebeefe6603134d6ec08091c These are amazing wheels, easily on par with Logitech if not better. If you have never used one of these set ups and your in Dayton hit me up, I would be happy to let you test drive, only problem is you will want to take it home.

This is my setup. http://www.playseat.com/shop/media/catalog/product/cache/20/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/1/_/1_25.jpg For PS3 and PC. And yes it is very much worth it, I paid about $550 for everything, new from Amazon. Have hundreds of hours of seat time.
-
No Logitech with the Xbox... unfortunately not easily at least. Damn Microsoft and their crappy wheels.

Pretty sure the whole point of the tethering is to use it for an internet connection. Regardless if its for home or away, I am confused as to how this is "ruining" it for the rest of us.

I think he was... the report said he was struggling.

Thought I would share a pretty good deal with free shipping from buy.com http://gizmodo.com/5850583/belkin-pureav-pf60-outlet-console-is-your-power-parsing-deal-of-the-day I have needed one of these for a long time, after my battery backup died and we got the new house I cringe every time the lights dim when the ac or heat comes on or there is a storm. I have around 10k or so in my equipment so this is a cheap insurance that will not only protect your equipment, but also provide a lifetime warranty on the product and $500k of protection. Oh and it should provide a consistent clear picture and audio feed.

But thats the point, as far as a "Drinking beer" such as miller or bud etc, you can get a case for a very similar price and its much better than those. Trust me I love and have tasted hundreds of craft beers, but I don't want to pay XX amount of dollars EVERY time I drink to get drunk or just while hanging out watching football.
