  5. My 2 cents, I love Samsung I would stick with them, and I think 3D is a gimmick until they make it work well without glasses. Also I would totally go LED. Sorry for the short post, just don't have time to post all the reasons 3D is going to fail.
  6. very easy fix, takes about 30 min, I just did this on mine and would love to help you but I am in Dayton. You need to go spend about 50 bucks on new springs though.
  7. ohhhh nooooo. I even looked.. Dammit!
  8. Although this is more likely, he just didn't know how to use it.

    2011 cycling

Endomondo is the shit... not only is it great for cycling, it works for pretty much every other sport out there. My dad did the 100 mile on the Wright Wride today, I just went out for a few miles with the fiancee. Also to the night ride comment, Evan just get a nice set of lights, probably in the $250 range and you will love it, best time to ride IMO. No traffic, cool etc. I would love one of these.... http://www.lupine.de/web/en/products/helmetlights/betty/12/ 2600 lumens... Yes its brighter than car lights.... and really good for mountain biking, but would work great for the road too! To buy them, (you don't wanna see the price) http://gretnabikes.com/lupine_lights.asp I had a HID light, with an actual ballast and everything. It was a $500 light and a hand me down from my dad when he upgraded... bright as shit, but it died finally.
  13. Best Buy accommodation most likely.
  14. First, Love my evo, bought a cheap ebay extended battery and with wifi it last all day with medium use, (some internet, calls, 100 txt, just fine). It does seem to be slowing down though, I think I just need to flash the phone and put it back to stock. (Had it since the month they came out.) Second: Fuck Samsung phones, I hate to say it, because I would spend all day trying to convince you to buy a Samsung TV or Monitor because they are amazing and have treated me soo well.
  15. So smart, I mean the person who thought that up was a genius. Lets make guys who drink our drink seem more gay by making them buy our gay drink for each other.
  16. Great little video on it from Amsterdam.
  17. or find someone who works at Best Buy to get it for you. They have an accommodation through Escort and get them for 50% off.... That's how I got mine 5years ago when the girl worked for BB, hell that's pretty much how we were able to afford all of our toys. BB pretty much has the best employee discounts of any store I have ever encountered. Anyone out there work for them and want to back me up on that. Put it this way they have/had an accommodation through Klipsch for the price of these towers....http://www.klipsch.com/rf-82-ii-floorstanding-speaker (note these are the II's the RF-82 I's were 1k a pair) I received the towers, surrounds, center, and 12 inch $800 sub. Shipped to my door in an 18 wheeler, on a 300+ pound pallet. NO SHIPPING, NO TAX all legit for 1k. In no way am I bragging as I could not have afforded all of that without the discount.
  18. Somewhere around there, I got it done to mine and they offered to ship it back to me for free after I dropped it off although I just went back and picked it up. It took like two days, and they gave me new suction cups and a mount and cord with it, I forget if it was 50 or 70 though. Either way it worked and looked like brand new when I got it back, I think they just cleaned the case but I swear they put a new one on lol. I assume they still do this service, this was like 2 years ago. They also offer $80 for a trade in for the 9500 but I think you could get at least $125-$150 selling it on your own.
  19. BTW have you been to the store/plant where they are made and based in Cincy it's only an hour and a half from you in Cbus. They will refurbish your 8500 for like 50 bucks. Oh and have you seen the new suction cups they have for it.... totally bad ass would never need another one again. https://www.escortradar.com/store/product.php?productid=16219&cat=259&page=1
  20. I would love to, price vs use is a concern. If my commute was 1+ hrs vs my 1 mile I drive and I knew I would be getting hit by laser OSP on the highway during rushhour all the time I would. I also wonder what the next technology is and how far they are going to go with these speed cameras, and ways to combat that.
  21. Same here, love mine, although I don't use it much on highway for the same reasons, I guess those things are used for the signs saying how long its going to take you to get from A to B, and I am sure they also monitor avg speed of traffic. I do want the 9500 also. I know there are a lot of naive people that don't know how to use the detectors properly and some on this board that just plain hate them, but I would swear by a good one. Escort or V1. Oh and you don't know what your missing when your out on a country road and you get an alert for a cop that is over 1 mile ahead, plenty of time to slow down. My best was 2+ miles on old US35 and he was approaching me. So yes it has paid for itself many times over and no it does not encourage me to speed, it's just always there as a friendly reminder to think twice before I do something stupid and or to remind me to let off if I am cruising at 75 on highway and need to get back to 65 or so.
  22. Your going to get more for your money with a desktop, I paid 800 built by HP its a desktop, although I know I overpaid by about 150 (vs building myself) it was worth it just to get a nice machine that was up and running.
  23. Funny you ask, I just got a new pc for this very reason, Lightroom was really slow on my old dual core. I bought a new i7 2.8 gig 4 core hyper threaded to 8 cores 8 gig ram, 1 tb hd, and ati 6750 with 1gig onboard ram video card. I loaded 1200 pics into lightroom to edit and it didn't even blink an eye. As for CS5 it runs great too.
