My thoughts exactly, if the person in question were to attempt something, it would be felonious in nature. I'm not as worried about someone on drugs, yes that threat is always present, but I'm more worried about someone who's gone off the deep end mentally. I really appreciate all the replies I was talking to her a bit about it last night. I think the big thing for her is that she would be comprimising her beliefs in owning/using a gun. I think I'm wearing her down though. Its not like she hasnt shot or doesnt have experience with firearms. I think she may just have a moral objection to it at this point. In my mind, I'll do whatever it takes to ensure the security of my family. The plan at this point is a security system for her home, a taser for the home, then some fox spray for the purse. I would like to see a shotgun and a small caliber handgun come into the picture.

This would be for use in the home and potentially for use of the protection of her and the kids outside the home. I'm obviously concerned about cross contamination that may come with some aerosolized sprays, I'm thinking a foam would be better in that case. After looking at the C2 that looks like a very good option as well. I personally think she should have a lethal option, even if its a small caliber handgun, but she's worried about having a handgun with the children in the home. thanks for the help, i'll see if I can dig up that old thread to look at.

While she is quite attractive, this is not the only reason why she needs protection.

Thankfully, I'm not worried about her putting herself into dangerous situations, but without getting into it, she has the need for protection. I definitely agree with this as well.

What I would prefer

So I've suggested many times that my gf get a handgun or shotgun for home protection. She isnt ready to do that yet and would rather get a non-lethal alternative. I've never really looked at any of this stuff, so I'm hoping some people here have some experience. Tasers, mace, etc. Any advice or experiences would be helpful

When I did that for my new harddriver I just downloaded everything from my portable to my computer, formatted the ext to FAT32, formatted the PS3 harddrive, then formatted the ext back to how it was before. its a bit of a pain in the ass, but it worked

Mainly westerville and polaris area. I saw some lady go straight through three 4 way stops on polaris. Each one causing a tire squealing stop as to not kill her. She even blasted into the polaris/sancus intersection turning left. I saw many intersections rotating the wrong way, lots of 3-4 people going in a row, pretty much saying fuck all to everyone else in the intersection. Overall it just boggles my mind how little people actually know about how to drive and how quickly it turns into a clusterfuck situation.

Tell you what really chaps my ass about this whole thing. No one in this fuckin city knows how to handle a 4 way stop. I've seen all manner of ignorance and douchbaggery the past few days with this shit.

Their events are good. I go to them more than I do the SCCA events. Fuckin tiny little courses :fuuuu: I went a few weeks ago and it was only in the 80's and I thought I was going to burst into flames. Theres no way in hell I'm going out there tomorrow
