We used American Moving and Storage about 2 years ago. They charged $90/hr once they arrived. Plus $180 fee. It took about 3 hrs to load everything and it filled their large truck to the brim. 1hr travel time and 2 hrs to unload. I think it was about $700 bucks. Best money I spent. Ill never not use a moving company again.

Do you have an overall budget in mind for something like this? It gets pretty damn expensive pretty quickly. Im 3/4 of the way through my C10 build and it takes about 3x as much $$ as you think its gonna. I originally wanted a pro-touring style truck as well but decided my budget couldn't swing a proper chassis setup along with LSX engines and T56's, big wheels, brakes, tires. etc etc. I would find a truck that's supported by a company that makes a suspension kit for what you wanna do. Ridetech would probably be a good place to start. They have several coilover kits front and rear for different trucks. I have one of their Street Grip kits and its really nice stuff. Or if you have "real" money to spend find a company that makes a ready to go chassis for you.

So about 2 years ago I did a "deck-over" on our back patio area. I wanted to make sure it was good and dry before doing any type of sealer. Well its definitely time (maybe past time) and I need to pull the trigger on something. Ive read its best to do a cleaner and then a brightener but Im not set on what product to use. Id like to darken it just slightly but that isn't a must. Any first hand input on what has worked well for you? It's covered but obviously gets wet/snow on each end. Id like something that holds up well and doesn't need done every year if possible. And then may tips on application. I assume maybe I would brush the seems then roll the tops?

small update. I left a 1 star review on google for Beck Suppliers, which in return they responded to immediately asking for more information. So I sent them my information and Andrews info. We'll see if that amounts to anything.

All legit but just a very poor way of doing business. I know in my environment it would be very simple to take care of this situation to keep a "customer" than force them to attempt legal action and hope they don't. Regardless whether it was 100% cut and dry as to who's fault it was. At this point Ill go about my business by choosing not to purchase Sunoco fuel and maybe write some piss poor reviews online about my experience with each company.

I posted on the Blacklick FB page and their was another guy in a GTI that got premium fuel the same day and had the same issue. Then 2-3 weeks after their was another complain that Franklin County received and they went out and checked it. Luckily for them it was the next day and it checked fine.. So hard to say if it was legit. All points legit. I did keep the sample for a week or so and asked in the beginning if it was necessary to keep my sample. I was never led to believe it was going to matter one way or another. I should have known better but I still don't think it would matter at this point unless I wanted to get legal. I WISH they would say they are denying my request because I don't have a legit repair order or any proof of what I'm saying. That would at least lead me to believe they have a system in place for request of this nature. Instead they are just ignoring my calls and pushing the blame to the other party.

Rant... So about a month ago, I ran by the Sunoco station on Waggoner rd which is right by my house. Filled up the wifes X3 and got some gas for the mower. $63 worth. By the time I got home the car had a slight miss. I thought "that's weird" but left it alone. In the a.m my wife gets ready to leave for work and comes back in saying her car is shaking and the check engine light is on. She takes my car and I figure Ill mess with it before I leave. I go out and start it up and its barely running. Spitting and sputtering like Ive never heard. I could barely get it to move. So I arrange it in the driveway so that it could be towed. As I do this it clears up just enough that it seems driveable, so I go ahead and drive it into my work. (dealership) I have a friend pull some gas out of it and let is settle in a bottle. It definitely didn't have all gas in it. So we drain the tank and push some fresh gas in it. Runs great now no problems. We determined that the water or whatever settles in the bottom which it did overnight and then when she started it in the morning that it was all water or whatever that caused it to run poorly but once I moved it around it mixed enough to be driveable. So at this point I'm glad its fixed but Id like to at least get my $$ back for the fuel. So I email Sunoco's customer service. (CUSTOMERFIRST is their slogan) They have me call in and give all my info about what happened. They lead me to believe they have a 3rd party company that will call me in a few days to arrange a solution. Almost a week go by and I get a call from the gas distributor. Beck Supplier. They are the distributor and franchise dealer I guess for the owner of the gas station. He lets me know that Franklin County Weights and measures came out 5 days after I pumped my gas and that the gas checked out fine... Well first off, how much gas has been pumped in 5 days at this station is my question? The best he can guess is between a 1000-1500 gallon of gas. So of course everything checked out fine. I tell him my whole story and that I'm certain something was in the gas. He claims to have called the station owner and will get back to me. I told him I'm very easy going and am just looking to get my $63 dollars back.. I gave it several more days and never heard back from him. I do eventually get a call from Sunocos claims company "ESIS" who lets me know that Sunoco is NOT responsible for anything related to my situation and that is comes down solely to the distributor and station owner. So I've called and left 2 voicemails to Beck and have yet to receive a call back. I keep going back and forth about just leaving it alone and going about my business because I don't really care about the $$ but the situation just rubs me the wrong way about how 3 companies can pass the buck and no one wants to take responsibility. I could have a $1k bill I'm trying to get paid for but all I'm asking for is $63 f'ing dollars. Anyone been in a similar situation? Thanks for reading.

I recommend Insl-x cabinet coat for doors and trim if you want something that holds up really well. It goes on pretty thin and takes a few coats but takes abuse very well compared to latex.

Nice. I like the facelift and updates on the 17's. I can't imagine selling mine. First car Ive had that's been paid off and have no desire to replace it with anything. IMO keep it around 300whp on E85 with a centrifugal blower and you'll be happy and reliable. That's where I'm at and its been dead reliable. (I don't put a lot of miles on it but it does get beat on on the regular. The stock clutch has held up as well. It has required nothing in the 3'ish years Ive been driving it that way.

These are great little cars. I regret selling mine for this same price. Super reliable. Can be fun to drive with a few mods.

The majority of the Z3's we see are middle-aged owned with minimal miles on them. So it never being driven in the winter is not uncommon. Regardless if it was winter driven. The exh systems on BMW's hold up VERY well compared to other vehicles. We rarely replace them. I wouldn't cut the exhaust if it was mine. Just break the studs and knock them out. BMW's replacement is a M10x40 bolt that will go back in the hole just fine. I keep the exhaust gaskets in stock at Kelly if you need them.

The joint gets tight. I don't believe its a serviceable item. At least not from BMW. There ujoints are never replaceable.. driveshafts, etc.

All my current vehicles were exactly the colors I wanted. Ive done it other ways in the past and regretted it. They just happen to be all blue. The BRZ was new so that was easy and it turned out to be a 1 year only color. The A3 is pretty rare in that its 1 of 25 in a manual in 08 in sprint blue. I flew to D.C to get it. The C10 project is Viper GTS blue which I picked out years ago. My wife said she didn't care with her current BMW but now I think she regrets settling on gray because it was otherwise everything we/she wanted. But she's not a car person and I clean it so its easy for me. But yes cars are so boring now! I did sit in an orange RS3 over the weekend at the autoshow in Cleveland. It was sick! -
Hankook Dynapro ATM is another option. I ran them on my Sierra and they were quiet and a fair bit less $$ than the Toyo's or other similar tires.

I bought the Nighthawk 7000 and its been good for the past month or so. Better range than my old TC-link router. I also upgraded my modem. Still only getting ~36meg down on my 100meg service through Spectrum... :sigh:

Im semi jealous of you guys that enjoy daily driving new'ish trucks. I HATED driving my GMC back and forth to work. It sucked at everything except for hauling stuff. I dont think I've ever owned a vehicle for a shorter amount of time and was excited to see it go. Much happier in my 10 year old Audi... Itll carry some 2x4's but its no truck and that still sucks when you need one.

Intermediate steering shafts are prone to fail on E90's. They typically get stiff before anything else though.
