  1. dang, i missed the c10. looks sweet.
  2. Getting ready to get some new appliances next month when we move. (d/w, water heater/softener, microwave, maybe washer & dryer) Sucks trying to decide what to buy and how much to spend. Everyone has different opinions, experiences. Good luck OP.
  3. Id like to try and sell them as a set, at least at first. . BTW these are 2013 DOTS
  4. Removed with minimal mileage. 245/40r19 275/35r19 Fronts still have 10/32nds Rears are at 9/32nds no damage, holes, patches, etc. Cooper's Zeon RS3A is their latest ultra high performance, all season tire. Winner in a leading consumer magazine's testing, the RS3A delivers excellent wet and dry grip at a great pricepoint - in all 4 seasons. Easton area for pickup. Retail $700 new $350 for the set of 4. http://i.imgur.com/9xGJojdm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TOhrlrnm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kNxY1rsm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Qi198tJm.jpg
  5. Mine was on the market for 7 days. Had 2 showings (same people) and basically got full asking price. Found a place in Gahanna/Blacklick with 2 acres that we're in contract with now. A little more than we wanted to spend but time was short and finding any amount of land close to town is tough. Closing on both the 3rd week of this month.
  6. These multiple stops all seem well and good but I've never left TdB thinking I could go somewhere else and eat/want any dessert. If you are definitely wanting dessert maybe find a place that offers a set meal and not all you can eat. my $.02
  7. If you tell them you prefer it more well done they will bring it to you. The slabs usually vary from rare to medium but some sections are more well done. I dont typically eat rare meat but I do when I go there. The lamb chops along with the flank stank are my favorite meats. The service at TdB has been hit or miss for me. (parties from 6-30) Most of the time its average, a couple times a bit less. Its definitely my favorite place for meat. Plan for the meat sweats if you over indulge.
  8. Possibly Jims Trim on Main st? We've used them for a long time for all interior/vert work.
  9. seems like a good setup. why not skip the rears for now but still go with the 4 channel? this way you can add the rears later if you arent satisfied with just fronts or even consider a sub later on if you want. Im sure the price increase is somewhat minimal between the 2 and 4 channel amp.
  10. I havent had anything with 6x9's since the late 90's so I cant really compare them to anything recent. I also thought they were crap though...maybe things have changed. Ive had a couple setups with only 6.5's and while they will never have lots of bass I felt like it was plenty for most types of music and moderate to slightly loud levels. I even remember powering a set of decent coaxials with a little 50x2 amp that was semi-impressive for a minimal investment. I havent been in the market for anything in quite a few years so I dont know whats out there now. Ive had Boston Acoustic, Focal, Polk and a few others but like I said that was 5-6 years ago. Search around for whats available for your budget. Quite a few component sets can be mounted like coaxials so that might ease your install if thats a concern. I would definitely recommend some sort of amp for whatever you decide to buy even it's small.
  11. If it was my truck and I didn't want to do a sub, I would buy the best 6.5 components for what I wanted to spend and a small 2 channel amp and be done. Forget the 3.5 and the rears. If you wanted to consider a sub later on buy a 4 channel amp now and just use 2 channels or wire the components up on all 4.
  12. Really nice place. Jealous.
  13. Obviously nothing is free... VZW charges a ~$30 activation fee and you are glued to a contract but I have no desire to switch to any other company. So it works for us. I have no desire to buy $600 phones just so I have "freedom" from a contract.
  14. Just ordered a G3 for the g/f for free with her upgrade. Ill be comparing it to my M8. I would wait if you are looking for the newest/best thing out.
  15. I've been in the industry for about 15 years (aftermarket & dealership) and it has to have had a large impact. I think it would be hard to put numbers together though unless you knew how many parts were being purchased over the internet. Currently Im pretty lucky in that my dealership does a lot of in house service work which doesn't allow for internet shoppers. Body shop wholesale also helps. My retail customer base has definitely dropped off in 10 years at the same store. My main grief with customers currently is they think because I work at a dealership I am there to supply them with whatever information they need so they can buy it elsewhere. Ive recently stopped giving out part numbers over the phone. If you dont want to shop with me, pay my prices I understand. But you need to either do your own research or get the info you need from whoever is selling you the product you want to buy. I also think it has to do with the lack of knowledge the majority of the people that hold these jobs have. I know we all think we know everything but so many of these "parts pro's" are not experienced. And when you get poor service over and over you are gonna shop elsewhere. /rant
  16. Just east of utica. Ten minutes south of mt. vernon.
  17. whats the recommended steps to have something lined up? I mean I know that sounds like a dumb questions but I cant buy something before my house is sold. I can try to get a contigent contract but nobody is forced to hold a house. You guys are making me paranoid now. :fuuuu:
  18. Not to get off topic but is Zillow and Realtor the best place to find houses as they are listed? Or should my realtor see stuff before I can?
  19. Planning to put mine up at the beginning of next month. I live a bit outside of town. Im interested to hear replys. Im nervous about selling it and not being able to find "exactly" what we want. Obviously we can look and get a contigent contract going once we get the listing up...hopefully.
  20. Very entertaining show. lots of good violence this season. Lili Simmons is soo hot. . also love shameless. naked emmy rossum is always good.
  21. Well, my brother (who the car belongs to) took a look at it again today and now the car starts every time. Cant get it not to start. Nothing was done overnight except putting it on a small trickle charge. I still find it hard to imagine it was a low battery. -the battery is less than a year old -it started 3 hrs before we got the no start -we tried a jump back and a plug in charger and still nothing. But we wont really be able to diag it any further until it acts up again. crazy cars. thanks for the advise everyone.
  22. when we removed the starter we didnt even remove the harness, just pulled it to the side. But we'll check the wire again. even if the trans was bad I can't figure out how that would keep the engine from starting with being a manual. When the clutch is in there is nothing on the trans being used except for the starter being mounted to it. we'll look into this. I figured a 600amp jump box would be enough to turn it over regardless of the battery. and like I mentioned the battery started the car 3 hrs before this. I think so but I figured if the solenoid is clicking its working. Both connections are getting power. This was my next step after reading around last night. We plan to look at it again today sometime. Ill report back. Thanks
  23. 95 sohc civic 5spd manual trans. Trans went out last weekend. Picked up a replacement one this week. Installed it with a new clutch today without issues. Car only clicks now but wont start. The car started and ran right before we took the trans out. -We checked the grounds that were removed during install, they look fine. -checked cables at battery -checked connections at starter -tried jump pack. No change -used battery cables to add additional ground from engine to chassis. No change Messed with it and messed with it. Eventually the car started one time. Put the rest back together, car failed to start again. -Installed new starter, car still fails to start. Just clicky click click. Any ideas? Thanks Derek
