Ive talked to Specialty Gas House several times about having a gas line ran. (havent actually done it yet) but they seem to know what they are doing and prices seem reasonable. They get very good reviews on Angies List as well. Might be worth a call. 614-261-0824

We used the BTN2GO app yesterday streamed through the Chromecast. (yes I have a TW login). It was mediocre at best. Didn't work really at all at first. So I switched over to a laptop running chrome with HDMI out. Couldn't even get the laptop to keep up with the game. Finally went back to my phone and the chromecast. Quality was medium to poor on a 58" screen. It would errror out every so often and you have to back out and click watch again on my phone. PIA. But still better than a $100 cable bill.

That's a nice setup. Properties like that are hard to find. I wanted something similar as well but on the east side. Ended up sacrificing with a 2 car attached and 1 car detached after running out of time.

Maybe it depends on who you run with. Auto Interest doesn't require anything at any of their events unless you tell them you've never been on a track before.

I really wanted to go Sunday to Nelson, but just didn't make it. For an average street car I never felt the track was too rough. Its a lot of fun at Nelson, Ive been mulitple times and probably have more fun than at MidOhio... And its cheap. I definitely want to get out to Pitt soon though.

Interesting. I assume they rented it through AEP though? Mine is leased through AWHR. Assuming I want to cancel the lease (which I can do at anytime) they would be responsible for removing the unit. I shouldn't have any cost associated with doing so. Unless someone knows otherwise. But yeah if there was any type of incentive for me to keep it I would do so. At this point Im assuming its just sucking down electricity for heating water that Im not using.

Just wondering if anyone has any real input on these things efficiency? Our house came with a leased Vaughn 120gal stone lined hot water heater. There are only 2 of us in the house so it seems like way over kill. Im paying $18/month to lease it currently. They mentioned I could purchase it but I dont know what the price is...yet Im looking for ways to reduce our electric cost. We moved into a older ranch home (1960) which is exactly the same size as our older (2000 built) ranch. Our electric cost have been about 25% higher in the past couple billings than our old place. There are a couple of items that I know contribute a little bit of it but it still seems higher than it should be. A couple small additions are -sump pump agitator -small koi pond pump -internal well pump that runs more than the old in ground. The furnace is very similar along with the other normal appliances. The insulation in the ceiling is similar (which I plan to blow in more before winter) but I assume the walls maybe arent as well insulated. The windows are of very similar age. I know there are a million other things contributing just wondering if buying a newer/smaller hot water heater would be worth investing in. TIA Derek

We have 15-16 Rotary's that are used for 9 hrs daily. I cant tell you the last time we ever had an issue with one. We get them serviced/maintained about once a year. We have new arms installed about every 10 years. Good lifts. Its what I would buy if I wanted a full size 2 post.

Sucks X 10. We have 2 guys here with Fords who've had misserable experiences with Kreiger. One with an older Taurus with a throttle "sticking" issue. Huge safety concern that they played off, charged $400 to throw some parts at it. Which didn't fix the issue and to top it off didn't even drive the car. In/Out mileage was identical. Service Manager said the car was operating normally even though the car would continue to coast/accelerate when going down the highway with no throttle input. :dumb: The other car is a newer 5.0 with a pinion seal leak. The first attempt failed with a seal that wasn't seat all the way in. The second attempt was just a attempt at re-sealing the 1st seal. This caused the leak to be worse than before any repair was made. Im sure others have similar experiences.

Do you know what brand/model glass tube style you have? And I thought the same thing about the small reflector on top. Thanks for the tip. I assumed there was a typical distance recommendation. I think the height might be the only issue. But with a large reflector the distance above might be less of an issue. It would be easy to keep an eye on.

Moving into a new house next week and it has a nice covered patio on the back. We are looking to have a natural gas line ran with quick disconnects to run a grille (probably MHP) and possibly an outdoor heater of some type. I originally wanted a glass tube style heater as they look awesome but a nice one (lave heat) is about $1k and people complain they don't output what they advertise 40-50k BTU. So Im tempted to not go that route due to cost and not knowing whether they are worth a crap. There aren't even any dealers in Ohio. So at this point I might just buy a mushroom/normal bar style cheap Chinese version for ~$200 and see how that goes. Looks like a lot of them are similar and rebranded with different names. Anyone have any experience with any of these? My 2nd question is can I use it under a sloped metal roof with 2x4 wood rafters? The roof is about 9-10 feet sloping to 7-8ft towards the outside. I see most of these are about 6-1/2 feet tall. Is there a concern with heat above the reflector and or "exhaust" under the roof? And yes I know the grill shouldn't be under the roof but Im not sure if these heaters have the same recommendation.
