weather was pretty suspect about 15 minutes ago here in knox county. Very eerie feeling. Windy with minimal precip/thunder. supposedly hail here but we didn't have any at my house. Hopefully this other cluster passes over top of me.

I agree. That was my first thought too. That launch was weak compared to most any other video I've seen of a Veyron. That thing should be moving out...and it doesn't really.

nice pickup. should be super handy. I didn't care much for the 2.5 in my rabbit at first but I really enjoy it now with a cheap intake and GTI exhaust. The mk6's have longer gearing which helps with fuel economy. My mk5 a bit too high strung. Oh and you can hack the shifter down about 1-1/2" if you want without any ill effects.

The g/f and I found 12 over the weekend. 5 of us searched for an hour in a known "mushroom" area. And thats all we found. I figure it should get better in the next week or two. Regardless they were great. Just enough for the 2 of us.

intake manifold part numbers are the same. I want to gamble and say its strictly software but the part numbers are different for complete long blocks, so I cant say for certain. edit: piston part #'s are different. crank and rods are the same....weird.

at Nelson probably. The last corner is the only corner where Im really traction limited. On a smaller, tighter track or autox my car would be a turd. You getting one? No springs?

kidding aside we usually get plenty of "free" laps in at nelson. enough to record the times and compare. I know Torqued Racing isn't doing Nelson this year just the mid-o event. Probably end up doing a couple fun days instead.

Seemed to work for me on TWC. Ive had issues streaming utube videos for as long as I can remember. They would never buffer fast enough to watch without stopping. Watched a handful just now with no issues. THX!
