Tom that seems to be a recurring instance for you at autox, let's pop off a few spark plug wires and see if we can keep you pointed the right direction
-
Worked for Brian Williams?
-
I'll swing by, unless my IMS bearing, cylinder liners, heads, camchains, or AOS keplode beforehand
-
I'm pretty sure I know the ones you're talking about. Yeah I have to be very very careful with how I hit those in the e36, or it scrapes even at crawling speed. They're some nasty fuckers for sure. Just take a crowbar down there and tear them out. Wear a hi-vis shirt so nobody questions ya

I have one of those brita pitchers you fill up from the tap, I think the filter is 3 or 4 years old. Water tastes like water
-
I sent via text to you. Maybe you could upload? I'm slammed at work today.
Just have your secksretary do it for you? I think joneze had a few as well, I saw him smartphoning
-
I like your camera better than my shaky-mount gopro.
This was the slowest run I had uploaded.
-
Car sounds good miller, that was some excellent wheeling. Personally I think they should have knocked 3 seconds off for the beautiful way you powered out of the spin, but OH WELL.
-
14 runs is pretty awesome, I've never gotten that many at KK! I wonder if the constant right-hand turning starved you of oil and caused an issue? Dem sticky tires cause all kinds of issues :gabe:
Very sorry hope it turns out to be something simple and cheap.
-
normal or Audi-grade?
Normal. It's not as nice at first, but it fails less as it gets older.
-
Looks like painter's tape. Is that the idea?
-
ha.... Hug it out?
Ok.
Not raining in Dublin, even saw blue sky for a second. Decent chance for some mixed weather autox this weekend.
-
Don't mind me today....I'm just crabby BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE RAIN :-)
p.s. I don't think we're talking about the same model of 911
Too late, I'm already at salt-level midnight.
I was talking about the first S4, mine is a 93 :lolguy:

At least Audi finally went back to a proper locking differential, after years of garbage "electronic locking differentials." Is Porsche still using those plate-based differentials that wear out every 17 seconds?

This just means it's slow and under-powered.
My AWD car spins the tires in the wet.
It is slow and underpowered. Made a whole 20hp less than a 911 in its year, but more torque :gabe:
-
You should get an audi, even when it rains you can put quite a bit of power down. My S4 can just go WOT and no tirespin whatsoever, poor slick-tired vette guys just be spinnin.

No way the wheel base changed. If you need any small parts I still have some from a 68 911E I had briefly. If I had a starter it would be for a 2.0l not a 3.0 though
-
wait, does this mean in 10 years I can do cottage-built M cars with OMG SO ANALOG and sell them to rich guys for $400k like Singer does?
YES KILL ALL THE MANUALS!!!
-
That would be a real shame. I would expect recent manual M cars to increase in value significantly if they go to all 2-pedal cars just like Porsche
-
I've left painters tape on cars for days and it's come right off with no mess. Car is probably waxed up and clean anyway, should be easy.
-
Never had a kel tec. I had a similar experience with ruger- called up and received a new sight assy completely free to me on a 10+ year old product that my hard use caused.
Good to know.
-
Aftermarket sunroof?!? How odd, they probably spend more on the conversion than just buying an SC would have been LOL. Congrats on tracking down a cheap aircooled.
-
3 shot groups LOL. Please shoot at least 5, even my 3 shots groups are creeping on my 1-shot groups.
-
There are straw bales all over craigslist. I can't remember my record for how many bales I could get into an 8ft bed, but beware OSHP may not approve. 20 would be easy and totally legal though. Don't let it get rained on.
