  1. So are we going to get less or more snow this season? I kind of am enjoying the weather right now.

    - Drier: Parts of the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes, Northwest and Northern Rockies

    Midwest

In the Midwestern United States, El Niño almost always means less snow. However, there are a few El Niño winters that buck the trend. Quite simply, if we have a few huge winter storms in a season, it’s possible to have an above-average snow with less frequent snow systems, but overwhelming years have seen a lot less snow and warmer temperatures.

    I missed these parts

  2. Holy shit, what if the turrists get better training than our elite armed forced do? I mean, don't they kill captives and chop off heads and shit? Damn, those are some hard mofos. Don't even have a nice climate controlled barracks to come back to with a lukwarm shower and someone cooking your chow and shit.
  3. I think police and military are better in these situations because they've been through things like basic training, which teach you how to operate intelligently and decisively under extremely stressful conditions, and they teach you the muscle memory reactions in split-second decision making that can be the difference between identifying someone as a threat or a bystander and shooting accordingly.

Haha, I sure don't remember anything like that from infantry basic/AIT, and that's for people that will actually be carrying blasters and kicking in doors and doing army guy shit. Maybe we've all repressed all that ninja-commando training, and we're just waiting for the activation words

    SGT SHAW. SGT RAYMOND SHAW.

  4. I have a wood burning fireplace in my new house I want to be inspected and cleaned as it appears to not have been used in some time. What does this typically cost and do you have any recommendations on people?

    Thanks.

Just open the damper, make a fire in there, and call me if you need to borrow my extinguisher

  5. I heard rymer has been shot 17 times, stabbed, 11 times, hit with an iron 3 times, the ironing board only once ironically, and hit with a grapefruit a remarkable 48 times.

I heard he is still here too.

Some of those grapefruits had it coming and that ironing board is a damn liar

  6. What if I told you, that just in little old OHIO there are over 400,000 CHL holders? It's extremely likely the vast majority of people carrying concealed you pass everyday on the street, in traffic, at the store, etc and never know. Because CONCEALED.

Unless you make a habit of asking every person "hey bro, you licensed? how'd you score in your last shooting test? how about weak hand? nice splits bro" but I've met you multiple times and I don't you remembering you asking me

  7. That's legitimately the only thing I could think that would significantly differentiate the utility of an AR vs Mini14.

Without derailing TOO much, ARs are cheaper than ever to buy, cheap to maintain, excellent at what they do, and are a mature weapon system. Many departments get them for FREE through the DRMO or whatever they're calling it now, leftovers from our previous federal spending.

I've used both platforms, and the ergonomics, reliability, accuracy, flexibility and value of the mini14/30 platform is not even on the same playing field as an AR15. But that's a different topic.

  8. Blockage in the vent isn't that uncommon, might be some critter packed some debris in there to escape the cold, I've seen it before. It's easy to find the vent on the outside of the house, just remove any caps and have a look. Will take 5 minutes to check, if that.

If it's pitched wrong, probably would have shown up by now unless you had some change that altered the vent, opening, airflow, or etc. Did your tenant move a covered grill or something up against the house where the vent is?

    Go have a look

  9. Turkey said that they warned the jet 10x over a 5 min span. It doesn't make sense since like you said, it would only be seconds before the Russian Jet to cross that section of Turkish air space if it actually did. Turkey is fucked

Yeah but they probably warned them in turkish, and what russians speak turkish? should have warned them in murican, cause erryone speaks that.

    FUCK YEAH :fuckyeah:

maybe the su-25 piped the f-16, and he wasn't havin any of dat.

  10. Not sure where you drive but I never get piped, see people get piped or see ricers anymore :eyes:

Me neither. On the northwest side, even at sawmill I rarely get anyone doing anything but creating a traffic jam.

I do get the insecure soccer dad in his minivan speeding up to 90mph on the highway to pass me, then slowing right back down. Ricer-dads :dumb:

  11. Actually the ATS-V weighs 3,803 to 3,812lbs depending on coupe vs sedan.

    3800 lbs LOL that's as heavy as a 1980s tech, full-size, AWD, iron-block luxury turbo car. EL-OH-EL

Well hopefully with all that power and weight it can lap the road course faster than a 911 and tow more than a f150 longrodhornram

  12. you don't have to shoot very hard before they start sticking in your chamber.

Also they get a different color of funk on your fingers during loading.

Also many ranges will pitch a hissy fit if they see it.

Also specdevwarteam 9er doesn't use it, so -14 tacticool points

  13. New York Times has written an article on the German & Victorian Villages calling them "Columbus's Gayborhood". It's also cited Clintonville as a "Lesbian stronghold". Nothing wrong with it, they're pretty areas. You'll just be knee deep in coffee beans, Burberry scarfs and neighbors that scoff at your hobbies. I personally don't choose neighborhoods so I can be a minority.

The outback would fit right in, the wrx not so much. Will need a screenshot of sticker type and placement to confirm

  14. Check out Grandview Heights, about as close to downtown as you can get for a separate municipality, cool little uptown area with lots of food/drink options, 2 square miles, great home values and schools.

Grandview is nice, in many ways the younger trendier (but just as expensive) Upper Arlington. The police there are EXTREMELY sensitive, and will write tickets for no front plates and hassle you late at night. German Village has LOL streets- brick and wavy/jacked up, not to mention parking on the street will get your car broken into. Finding places with big racer-friendly garages in the short north will be $$$ compared to some burbs, but you know your priorities better than anyone.
