I have no personal experience but I have heard the 370's are nice fun DD's and a LOT of women here in DFW have them. The two most popular sports cars I see down here with women driving them, 350/370 and Corvettes. They are EVERYWHERE. If she was willing to go used, 335i/xi? New 128i's are a tad over $40k, but I am assuming you can't really haggle the price with BMW's the way you can a Ford.

Yeah, I was 16 when they sold to me but that was 12yrs ago so I am sure things have changed. Sometimes I forget just how long ago that actually was.

Who here has seen this and what were your thoughts? I thought it would totally suck but I was actually entertained. Its on netflix instant watch, but it is subtitled as its all in Norweigen. I think the last troll killed in that movie is Gabe...

Yup. I have seen dogs "sandbag" and give little to no warning but there is always a reson behind the bite. This case was not an all out f u attack. This was an "your agitating me, now you getting up in my face, I'm telling you not to get closer but you keep coming so i need to correct you" bite. Notice the dog is backed up against the officer and she is coming at his front. Dog is trapped. As much as this country "loves" its dogs, you would think people would educate themselves.

If I had to choose one liquor for the rest of my life, it would be that.

Go irish and get a bottle of the Bushmills 10yr single malt. It's in a green box/bottle.

Laphroiag 10yr was good. Hated it at first. Left it on the shelf for 3 months, went back, loved it. Its a pretty smokey scotch imo but not bad for $40ish. I would take the GLen Livet 15yr over it any day though. Glenfiddich 12yr single is really good too.

Not sure I would have shot the computer, I would have certainly taken it away for a very long time, if not indefinitely, if she had a smart phone, sorry honey, thats getting downgraded, and if she was 18, you got it so bad, OK, you have one week to bounce out.

I have had several $20 bottles, and IMHO the Speyburn was much better, but that's because it was less smokey/peaty than the others I had. I agree with you though, for $40-$50 you can have a MUCH better experience. I personally prefer Irish over Scotch, and got into a discussion with a gentlemna that works at the local liquor store here about why Scotch selection is so great and Irish is so limited. As with most things...marketing. People started putting Scotch in movies, so demand for Scotch in the US has continually risen over the last few decades. I personally would like to see a much greater selection of Irish Whiskey, but I don't see that happening any time soon unfortunately.

See, I thought the Speyburn was phenomenal for $20. Last time I had it I think it was actually a bit less but liquor prices have definitly risen over the last couple years.

I bought a bottle of the Glenlivet 15yr French Oak a couple weeks ago...this stuff never disappoints. Anobdy have experience with any of the Balvenie lineup?
