Thoughts...opinions? Like most "festivals" I used to think it was fun, but the prices on everything goes up year after year and I think $3/bone is ridiculous. It's just another money making institution like every other community festival these days.

OK...I am nuts. I can't stop thinking about how bad I want this laser...and the price goes up $100 on friday. I don't have the money ($362 after all the options and shipping) which stinks. Some guy I work with offered me a deal where he would buy me the laser, but sometime between now and when he dies I have to agree to use it on any 3 people of his choosing. I don't know if I want to be indebted like that...especially considering this thing would kill someone ha ha.

+1. I love getting like 15 inches of snow in a total mess and everyone is stuck. Driving down morse rd by easton and deciding you want to go the other way at about 35mph and just busting a perfect 180. Love the 4wd in the TB. A few years ago when we got that 20 inches my buddy and I spent 11 hrs just making our own traffic laws and pulling peple out of ditches and drifts. Tried helping a cop out too but he refused the help.

What kind of dog? I had a speedometer on my bike a few years ago and I was at 23mph with my best friend's doberman right beside me and he was holding back...all this after having already ran 8 miles...

Like I said, Easton is not the best but regardless of the "fail" comment above, if you happen to be up there when the sun is setting it is really pretty, especially when there are a few clouds and they sky is like a hundred different colors. All out romantic though, I say park of roses. You have a gazeebo, a few trellises (sp?), fountain, and tons and tons of colorful flowers.

Probably not quite what you are looking for but sunsets off the easton parking garage are awesome. I like getting the chance to see it from there. Park of roses is beautiful this time of year as well. That's where my wife and I got married.

I own an 06. Has a lot of stupid little problems, but I still like it. I have never driven a vehicle with such an awesome turn radius. And the 4wd is nice too. I have pulled many people out of diteches with with and I scoot really nice though snow as well.

The dog will receive necessary training at the shelter? +1 for that shelter than because I have never seen a shelter that does obedience training. In fact, I know of pit bull rescues locally that have turned down offers of free training to help get dogs adopted. They just wanted people to foster them, not train them. So if this place does obedience training for all it's dogs before adopting them out, sound slike a pretty good place that indeed would have a high pit adoption rate. As for media brainwashing people thus making them not want pits, that's only part of the problem. The other problem is all the regulations an Ohioan has to follow in order to legally own a pit. It's got nothing to do with how they view the dog, but more how the governemnt views them. Someone may understand pits are as good or as bad as any other dog but they don't have the money to buy $100K in liability insurance the state dictates you need to own a pit, so they opt for the black lab instead. And as for having 3 acres of fenced in are instead of a small spot in the city, I am not understanding what that has to do with the dogs welfare.

What is the adoption rate on Pits? Most people steer away from them and years and years in a cage doesn't do a dog any good either.

I know this sounds like personal vendetta but I would say if she wants to keep the dog and make it work have her call me and if not me I would be happy to make some other recommendations.
