The tower was getting ridiculously crowded. I harvested some, enough to stuff 2 1gal storage bags and an additional huge head of 4 seasons lettuce and a head of pak choi. Used it in the chicken parm my wife made last night. Also trimmed some of the bigger kale leaves for the first time to use in a salad. I will say this, that kale was very good. Thick, crisp, had a flavor similar to fresh pea pods, (which we love). The basil was incredibly aromatic and flavorful as well.

Easytether has worked for me for years, but it seems to be funky lately depending on what computer I hook it to.

We are talking about an hour from harvest to my table. It's a lot of work getting started and ironing out the kinks, but I feel it is worth it to know I am eating healthy varieties, getting max nutritional benefit due to not having to go through distribution, and not herbicides, pesticides, etc.

^Should say "Lighthouses, Beaches, and Meth." Drugs are big up in Ashtabula. I believe at one point they were leading the state in meth labs. Scenic area with amazing hunting and fishing, (my whole family is from there), but the people under the age of 40 freak me out. They are all pulling out of the same, very limited gene pool.

Autometer cobalt is what I use in my dsms. No complaints.

I didn't do a grow comparison between white walls and mylar, I just put 2 coats of white on the walls, ceiling, and floor, then put mylar on the walls and ceiling. It is incredible bright in there with the LED grow lights on even with glasses. Nothing is touching the walls. My just be an optical illusion.
