The last time I stopped in to see Bob, we chit chatted for a while and he had mentioned he has chilled out a bit and pretty much just takes on work that he wants to take, and that's about it. I will say this, when he did my 4G63 motor like 5yrs+ ago, he did a good job. That motor held together for 3yrs with my throwing considerably more power at it than the parts I gave him were meant for. Eventually it broke a wrist pin on 4, but that's my fault for using pins that weren't up to the task I handed it.

My 25yr old 4g63 rockers still look like better quality.

While some of his tests are flawed, he does dome pretty neat stuff. One of his episodes he filters water our of a stream.

Care to explain why? My research seems to show RO leads to demineralization, some of those minerals, your body needs, such as calcium. Also, RO requires water pressure. Lose pressurized water pressure, and you lose filtered water.

you know what, I may order 2 of their test kits to test the water before I put it into the berkey, then test after its filtered through the berkey...

After tasting the water from my parent's ProPur, I got a Berkey with the flouride removal filters added. All chemical taste is gone. The water is incredibly smooth, and I actually enjoy drinking water, which I never did before. I am also considering getting a Katadyn so I can filter stream/pond/rain water and not have to worry about microbes. Maybe do a double filter setup since water through a Katadyn has an off-putting taste. Put it through the Katadyn first, then through the Berkey. Which filters/purifiers do you use, and why?

Some of my best memories were from when I was like 13-14 on my buddy's jet ski up in central New York. They had two sea doos. Man those are fun. GLWS.

I want to come back to OH for the shootout just to see this.

Keep up the good work man. This is very impressive. On a separate note, but still related to what you are doing, for anybody that cares about the kind of food they consume, I HIGHLY recommend reading "Eating on the Wild Side" by Jo Robinson. Some excellent info on the healthiest varieties of fruits and vegetables as well as proper storage, shelf life, and some good recipes.

Tell me why I have asked myself this question like 30 times since I started reading this thread. Troof. Lack of welding ability is my biggest shortcoming. This is such an awesome project man. Keep the vids coming.

Truth. I see guys on Tuners looking for that stuff all the time. People junked that stuff that years ago when everyone though that 5spd swaps were ohhh so awesome. The few that remain, people command a high price for, or they aren't letting go of them.
