I was reading a vice article a few months ago where they were interviewing mexican farmers who aren't even planting anymore because they said the priced dropped so low after recent legalization/decriminalization measures in the US, that it wasn't even worth it to plant.

Was he actually selling cigs at that point? My understanding was that he had in the past, but in this situation he was not selling, and had actually just broken up a fight. I could be wrong on that though.

It doesn't just have to come from parents. Peers as well. It comes down to what society/that community will deem as acceptable or unacceptable behavior.

Community policing isn't exactly what it sounds like. It's peer pressure, values, morals, etc. When people know that their family and peers will not tolerate unacceptable behavior, said individuals are less likely to exhibit that unwanted behavior. Obviously there are exceptions, but how many of these people are holding their peers accountable? I put a lot of weight in what my family thought about my behavior, which was a helpful deterrent from making a lot of bad decisions. Knowing your family will withdraw resources, fellowship, etc if you exhibit foolish behavior, can be one heck of a behavior modifier.

I agree. That's why I love the show. That Q/A on america being/not being the greatest country on earth actually started a pretty intense 8 way conversation/debate among myself and some of my friends this past summer. That's what I love about it!

Libs are generally butthurt about the female rolls in the show, stating the men always "win" and the female characters are poorly written, (which my wife and I both completely disagree with.) (And yes, I am butthurt that the series is only 3 seasons long, and that the final season is only 6 episodes long).

Does anybody on here watch this? I thoroughly enjoy this show, am sad it's ending so quickly, and don't understand why everyone is so butthurt over the last episode.
