  1. +1 There are people that legitimately need help and I have no issues with welfare systems in regards to helping them out.
  2. If they own property and do not pay after being ruled against, the courts can put a lien on their property. Why is street justice out? Equal rights, equal pay...equal uppercuts.
  3. I succeeded in creeping him out a bit, which was fun. People have no idea how much info can be found out about them through legal means. With the help of some members on here, columbusdsm.com, and my own investigation, I was able to get quite a lot of info on him. From his public myspace page, to his name and address base don his license plate # I had my wife write down, to who is relatives were, where is relatives lived, blah blah. I wrote his grandparents, who own(ed) heartland petroleum, a nice long letter about their grandson's dealings and urged them to have a heart to heart with him about changing his life and the way they interacted with people. I never received a response from them, but he brought up that is was creepy that I sent them that letter, so obviously they approached him about it. I had also sent him a certified letter, placed a copy under his windshield wiper, and dropped one off at his work. Dude was freaked out. Shoot man, a couple min on FB and I found his gf/wife Cindy just now- https://www.facebook.com/cindy.robinson.7773/photos and him... https://www.facebook.com/Jordons.Grindin These tards make it so easy. And he is friends with someone, who is friends with a few of my FB friends. Ohhhh the interwebz. How i love you so. Same thing with this nutjob old lady across the street from me now. I found her husband's facebook page, their home purchase info, their ages, where they are from, their son's name, past/current employers. All acquired legally without spending a dime. I mean, shoot, you can punch my name in google and find info/pics/friends from facebook, google, photobucket, pics and articles about one of my brother's...it's just nuts how much info is out there easily accessible.
  4. No idea. As I had stated in that thread, I had a point at which I would no longer pursue. When he showed up to mediation looking like a meth head with odd sores on his face, (not sure if drug related or got into a scuffle with someone; I didn't stare long enough to analyze), then taking into account he lived in a sh*t neighborhood, drove a gross blazer, and worked in the guard shack at his grandparents petroleum company, I wasn't going to get anything out of him even if I took it to court and they ruled in my favor. You can't get water from a dry well. Figured I would let the whole "what goes around comes around" thing play it's course as I was done wasting time with him, and I am not going to put my life/future in jeopardy by getting violent with him, as ultimately, what would that gain me?
  5. You personally don't have access to his personal info via LP#, however, a private investigator does. You can find an online PI and a few years ago, it cost me $40, and I had all his personal info that I needed. See linked thread for reference. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75467&highlight=whalen
  6. You can find his personal info for like $40 if CPD can't/won't do anything.
  7. Ride anyway. It's your own form of peaceful revolution. It's not the citizens fault the government can't get it's act together, so why should we the people not enjoy the land?
  8. Yous should read this. http://foodbabe.com/2011/06/06/sushi-secrets/ I am sure you can be more discerning when making your own as opposed to buying it at a run of the miss restaurant. I will probably try making my own sometime as I do love sushi, even if all I have experienced is the stuff this chic is telling me I shouldn't eat.
  9. I saw this on wimp.com yesterday. I figured they were more efficient just based on my experience utilizing them, but wow, the study results surpassed my estimates. I am all for them. Once people learn how to use them, I think they are great.
  10. Your work needs displayed in a gallery downtown. Keep the pics coming.
  11. Yeah, her and her husband have been saving for a long time to do this. Both had pretty well paying corporate jobs, were frugal with their money, and saved up. If you are going to travel, IMHO, this is the way to do it. Here is a recent facebook post showing just how much they have done so far: They are in Turkey right now. They posted some pics from FB. Truly inspiring stuff. As for Venus, the cool thing about her is that yes, she is attractive, but she has a personality that matches. She is a super sweet girl. And her husband Hernan, super cool, down to earth guy.
  12. I had Sierra Nevada's porter this past week. While drinkable, nothing special. To be honest, Bell's has the best porters I have ever had in my life. I wish I could get Bell's down here. I will check out the Kona beer. I know they sell some varieties down here. I will try to see if they have the porter.
  13. Yup. This. I have to hand them out to my employees and then I am having them sign a roster stating they received the letter.
  14. They are visiting a ton of countries over a year. Here is a link to their website/blog. They have some pretty awesome pics. Hover the mouse of "Itinerary" and a list of different countries they have been to thus far will pop up on a list. Click on a country and check out he pics. Her name is Venus, her husband's name is Hernan. http://www.ouraventura.com/
  15. 3hrs later I hear a single gunshot from within the house...
  16. Quick update: Haven't started the car in a few weeks due to the whole family having been sick. This past Saturday I pop the garage door open about 3ft and start her up. No joke, 30sec later she is in her garage with a sound meter. Then she proceeds to her mailbox along the street with the sound meter and "checks her mail" while looking down at the sound meter. Then she goes back to the sidewalk and walks down in front of the house beside her (which is directly across from my driveway), and proceeds to talk across the street mind you, to the people that live right next to me, all the while, looking down at the sound meter. So much LOL. Joke is on her, she spent money on a sound meter just to discover two things: 1.) The decibel level allowed in residential neighborhoods before 10pm is 70. After 10 it's 60. From 4ft away my car is right around 70, from halfway between my house and hers, it's about 52. The fan in my bathroom is about 52-53 if you are taking a dump right under it. Even better is the fact that for the police to issue a citation, the decibel level is measured from the property line of the person making the complaint, meaning it's even quieter from her property. Ambient noise at the checkout at the grocery store is 47. 2.) Apparently she is too stupid to look at the law regarding sound ordinances in Fort Worthless, because there is a list of exceptions, one of which is "Airport, railway, and vehicular transportation." Yup, doesn't matter how loud my car is, it's exempt. So much LOL. Keep tryin' lady, keep tryin'

  18. Derek, y u so secksey and ausum?
  19. Yeah, I would have hit panic mode and just started smashing bikers.
  20. Or are properly trained. I have no issues with people who have control over their dogs not having their dogs on a leash, as cited here: But that is about 1% of the population. So the rest of this population needs to do exactly as you stated, on a leash or within a fence. It's unfortunate it has to be that way, but it is what it is.
  21. my $.02... I have friends that ride, and I hope for nothing but their safety. But 90% of the bikers I see, down here in TX anyway, whether crotch rocket or chopper, ride like fkn idiots with no regard for traffic. Passing vehicles while in the same lane as the vehicle they are passing, cutting vehicles off, passing in between two vehicles nearly hitting them, etc. It is very hard for me to not be biased against motorcyclists when I have a negative experience with them on an almost daily basis. I just keep telling myself, these idiots do not represent them all. Unfortunately, it's only the idiots I see on the roads.
  22. Stop! Drop! Shut 'em down, open up shop!
