Yes sir, hauls ass with that little K03 turbo all the way up until it hits 13 PSI and starts cutting out. Kind of reminds me of my buddies 03 GTI which is pushing 20 PSI out of the KO3s for less than $50 in mods. I wish I could do the MAP clamp mod on your Audi, you would really like how that car feels.

I almost bought it, but decided that I love Megasquirt and love being able to tune every ratio of my engine. Get a decent tune, and I have the hardware to make your car put you back in the seat.

Seems like you are going into hard limp mode. There could be a possibility that the vac line to the wastegate is kinked or broken or someone has done the crank mod to it. If this car could get into the 10s or even 11s and supposedly make 530hp like all of the guys that were surrounding that car said, then burmese434 and my car were making 650 hp because we put bus lengths on him 3 times last year. Sweet car btw, I was really expecting to get my ass handed in my 330-350hp VW Fox.

There is no need to have cats in the car as the state of Ohio doesn't really care. Out of state inspections can be done pretty much anywhere and will only cost you $5. If you need any help, please shoot me an IM and I will direct you to the right people as I am a dealer and it is extremely easy to get an out of state inspection.

DKilbourne, that is the exact myth I am trying to bust here. A lot of people assume that with better 60' times, the trap speed should drop, but I cannot seem to understand how that works. If I stay with the turbocharger that was used on that track, then bogging down isn't going to be an issue as in the first three gears the rpms fell back t the sweet spot.

Yeah I had horrible all weather tires. So what times should I be expecting with more traction, hopefully with a 1.7 or 1.8 60ft time?

Gearing seemed perfect as I was in third gear at the end of the track. Everything else including driver was not the best. How is your beast, long time no see.

I was pulling 2.2s as my best and that was with a 3000rpm launch and no boost for first gear and part of second. If you listen to the video, you can tell when I get on it and it still spins the wheels until I get it into third.

Hopefully with the 01E transmssion (5 speed not a 6 speed like your S4) I will be able to get some good 60ft times. I will be able to run more boost as I usually would run 21 PSI sometimes on the street (3rd gear burnouts). With the new setup I will have a clutch and transmission that can handle the full potential of the motor setup.

60 ft times were 2.2 - 2.4. I don't remember the half track times.

So someone please explain this to me. I trapped a 121 mph and only got an ET of 12.9 with only 10 PSI of boost and half throttle first gear and part of second. Most of these people speak from no experience, but from what they have heard. I have owned about 7 land rovers (mostly range rovers) and am amazed at the quality, the ride and what I got for the price I have paid. On the newer 4.0 engines, make damn sure that the headgaskets aren't leaking. It is common that the headbolts back off and ruin the headgaskets. All though the parts aren't too expensive, unless you are doing the work yourself, things would start to get costly. Feel more than free to bring your car by my shop for me to check it out and no cost, and look at my Discovery II and Range Rover.
