the idea of leaving the car unlocked makes me nervous. Sounds like a good way to get the entire car jacked. The car does have an alarm, and a small blinking red light on the drivers side front door, so i guess i have that going for me.

So my girlfriend, whom ill be moving in with in 3 weeks, has had 3 car break-ins in less than a week at her Powell apartment complex. For those of you that know the area you know which one im talking about. The break-in was a Mustang last Thursday, then 2 more cars were hit Saturday night. The Mustang had the locks punched out of it and the radio stolen. The other 2 has smashed windows. The parking lot is pretty well lit. All of this makes me super nervous as ill be moving in with her in a few weeks. The last thing i want is my windows busted out and my radio jacked. I was thinking of purchasing a night vision/IR camera and setting it in the window facing the parking lot in an attempt to catch the perps on film should it happen again, but that isn't going to prevent it from happening in the first place. The complex does offer locked garages, which were on a waiting list for. Her lease is up in July. We plan to move out the instant it is up. What do i do in this situation?

Im running xbmc on an old core 2 duo machine that was decommed at work. i picked up one of those tiny wireless USB keyboard/mouse pads things for a remote. Boots right up into XBMC. Now they have apps you can download for android specifically designed by XBMC. I have an old galaxy that i will be using as a dedicated remote if my wireless keyboard ever dies. I downloaded the ice films plug in and there is endless content on there that is updated regularly.

Data limits. Yeah internet is getting faster, and "cheaper" but i see a future where internet providors begin setting data caps. Want more data/streaming ability? Yeah youre gonna need to upgrade your data cap. Go over that cap and we charge you more than you were paying for cable TV. Its fucked up, considering it costs these companies next to nothing to provide unlimited data. Throttling was just the beginning of it. A single HD movie can be up to 8BG.

Only a matter of time before they start catching on and jacking up the price of internet. Or finding some sort of tax or fee for those without a paid television subscription.

I paid 9k for my 03 with 57k back in 2008 if thats of any help. It was mostly reliable (other than the transmissions i blew up). I guess just check for rust.

Not to thread jack, but i have a relevant question. I am looking to buy a pair of tickets from some guy on craigslist for 11/15, who claims to have season tickets. From my limited search, i have found that you typically just print the ticket and take it to nationwide arena with you. How can one purchase a pair of tickets from someone who holds season tickets and not get ripped off, scammed, whatever. I know that you can transfer tickets, but it would be pretty fucking easy to make copies.
