Yea. You're my favorite.
***blush***
I don't put out but I will headshot a zombie in your name.

Another option for the silent but deadly headshot. More of a stand-off distance option so you don't have to get all sticky with zombie goo:

Preferrably something of the Nomex-Kevlar combination?
If it's thick enough it should provide some puncture resistance. Same with thick denim. Or even leather. Still have the fluid issue though. Suppose you could try the spray on waterproofing stuff for that.
You could go with a full face helmet with some type of electronic ear-muffs added to them. Head protection with good hearing protection and the amplified sound option for sneaky zombies.

Headshots to win the day + low sound signature to avoid attracting more zombies =

I'd suggest proper fluid and bite resistant clothing for the times when CQB gets a little to "C".

I'm done talking about snow until I can use my snowblower. I bought a riding snowblower.....YES!!!!!

If that's what you call the 13 dollar fish bowls of patron anejo (sp) I got smashed there with a friend last week. Best South Western Inspired Food
The exact tequila I request when there. Usually get my food to-go since I'm so close and have to limit myself to one or I end up downing four.

I gave up, years ago, relying on the guys that get paid despite being wrong, a lot, for anything besides the temperature.
Check outside to get an idea of what to wear and go with the appropriate layers.

I am not familiar with any but the one he's talking about...the Ultra Carry II. It has that rod that requires that little piece.
Understood. The Pro CDP II I own is the same, need the paper clip thingy. Love the pistol, not a fan of that feature. Larger frame models are paper clip free.

AR is fancy in the respect there are too many little springs and shit you have to worry about when taking it apart. If I'm in a life/death situation and need to strip it...I dont want to have to deal with that....AK, 4 big pieces...DONE. Kimber..if you don't have that little paperclip thingy to take a part....you're phucked. Might as well throw it at people cause I highly don't you'd find something on the ground that'll fit. So that's why I say fancy....got it?
Not all Kimber 1911 pistols (and other manufacturers) have that style of guide rod. Depends on the model.

Chille Verde or bust
A few blocks away and I didn't even know it existed until approx a year ago. Love it! Not really authentic as they have their own twist but damn, damn good food. And excellent, dare I say outstanding, margarita's.

FAL + Glock-21.

Fun pistols. To bad they shoot like a 22LR but are significantly more expensive.
I've got the other half of the pair as well, tri-rail version. A seriously soft shooting rifle.
-
I think one of the more fun/cheap weapons to own would be either a supressed MP5 or a Glock 18.
Mmmm, Glock-18. While I like the idea of the UMP45 you mentioned (I'm a 45ACP slut) the model 18 would be #1 on the list. Of course I'd want to shoot it so much that even cheap 9mm ammo would have me living in a box.

If you want a LEGAL full auto gun, it has to have been made before 1986, you will spend thousands to buy a legal transferable gun, plus another couple hundred for a tax stamp, plus you have to get you chief law enforcement officer (chief of police, county sheriff) to sign off on it, etc. Huge pain in the ass, huge expense, or I could just teach you how to bumpfire your AK for free.
Tax stamp: $200
Giggle-Switch Enabled Firearm: $$$$$$
Ammo To Enjoy Said Giggle-Switch: $$$$$$
That last is the real kicker. I could easily burn through a large percentage of a full-auto firearms cost in ammo in one range session. So damn sad.
And a Trust or LLC is another option besides the CLEO (Chief Law Enforcement Officer) sign-off. And if you live in Franklin County they would be
your only option unless you're already sporting FFL type licensing. Went the Trust route myself for my mufflers.
Limited exposure to shooting full-auto firearms. An Uzi, AC556 and an AR15\M16 variant. Think I'd rather have a burst option instead.

Hmmm, a Jones topic with "Woohooo" as the title.
I didn't even need to click to know what it was about.
And yes, the Bethel-Sawmill and North area was\is a touch slippy. Powell area is a non-issue.

And if he doesn't know the answer to a question you'll get "Let me find out". Not a line of made up BS.
Sidenote: I think I saw that Nagant. Must have a healthy kick with that light stock.

7.62x51 as well. And while I love my M1A\M14 it's the FAL I'll grab for that particular caliber.

with all the good references from many different places and people, it makes me wish I had a subie....but hey, if they are interested in working on a 2.3l Speed......
Subaru ownership not a necessity, they're about to do a little exhaust work on my Audi this week.

65-70*
This range in the Winter. A touch warmer, +5° approx, in the Summer.

We keep getting teased and get pretty much nothing!
Rinse-Repeat for the rest of the season.
Best bet is to wake-up and look outside: "Oh, hey, we got 8" of snow overnight!".
Or my favorite: "Damn, when I went in the bar it was 60 and sunny!".

I prefer to call it "tacticool", also known as gun rice.
This.
I've thought about getting one of the beta-mags for it and making it an emplacement weapon for my couch.

I think I found my new sport!

Thought I'd add this here as well as the "Pic" forum since it wasn't available when I did the Intro.
Pic of my DD in Winter mode. No, it's not on jackstands. Coilover suspensions can go the other way.

great intro.
Mind me asking what ALMS team?
Grand American Rolex series, not ALMS. Southard Motorsports is the team. Started off running 911's in the GT class and a Fabcar in the DP class. Moved to a Riggins piece of crap Corvette for GT and a BMW powered Riley for DP. Ended running a Lexus powered Riley DP only.
I do have a few friends that work in the ALMS series (Flying Lizard, Rahal, Intersport) and would like to give that a try but none of their teams are curently hiring. At least not for anything I'm qualified to do.
Bet this isn't on the ASE test..

My buddy saw a mouse in our shop the other night. Said shop being where he stores his '91 M3. He did not take the sighting very well. Fairly certain rounds-down-range would have occured if he was armed.
Fortunately said mouse hightailed out after about 10 minutes of being chased and stomped at by the freaked Bavarian owner.
