  1. Hi. Got pics? I had to give you a +1 LOL-Rep point for that.
  2. http://www.flux21.com/UPLOAD/Yo_Yo_Dawg.jpg
  3. (Not knowing anything about domestic cars) That's some serious rubber. Are you able to fit the 10.5's with 315's in there without any body adjustment?
  4. Very nice. Although I have to laugh at the article - "doesn't even look like a real vehicle". Umm, it just looks like a modified F1 car with a top and god-awful mirrors. Not that I wouldn't love to drive one... especially powered by a V12 TT engine.
  5. Not to get on your case, but take the plate off your dash. Nasty accident could put that in your head.
  6. Welcome. Sounds like you've had quite the collection there. Got pics?
  7. Nothing wrong with looking young. I was clean shaven before going to a movie last year and got carded. WTF.
  8. Welcome. +Rep for having a good sense of humor.
  9. Welcome. Nice Civic - what kind of power does that engine put out? I know nothing about Honda engines. If you can snag a free LT1 and a nearly free shell.... that seems like a worthy project to at least get into for a while. Although I think boost is more fun.
  10. Nice wheels on the Bimmer.
  11. Well, as of this morning the CEL is mysteriously off. Yet another self-fixing VW moment.
  12. Saw it Friday evening - and really liked it. I've yet to read the novel, and still might after the movie (read: novel prices) settles. I think that there was a little too much hype for a film that the general "tanks blowing up, cheesy love story, etc" movie-going audience probably didn't need. I think some people were expecting X-Men uncut with a touch of 300. Any time a story from a rather lengthy book, graphic novel, series, etc. is taken to film, there is always the issue of excessive source material being fit into one (sometimes more) story that the audience can swallow in a sitting. I think anything shorter than the 2h 45m or whatever, would have been too little time. Almost everyone I went with was disappointed, for some reason or another. During the movie two guys walked out mid-way through and said, "this movie sucks." I guess it's not for everyone.
  13. If a car ONLY runs on race gas, maybe you can debate the "street car" v. "race car", but if I choose to run it so I can keep my engine in one piece while running high boost.... meh. Maybe I'll keep the car fueled with race gas AND hook up a alcohol / water spray. (All this being moot because I've never put money down and raced on the street.)
  14. I'll keep an eye out; that's funny sh*t right there. Some of my favorites I've seen that came to mind are "FAIL" and "NOOB".
  15. This especially. I don't see higher octane as a power adder the same way I see nitrous.
  16. Very cool. I could read through posts like this every day.
  17. Damn that's some good looking paint. Love the second pic.
  18. Nice pics. Just some constructive criticism: I think a little less cloud cover and later in the day will give you better light. Dusk seems to be ideal for most colors imho. Also, shooting with the car on pavement > ground/grass/etc. Some of my favorites you posted are the ones with the least busy background, where the car is the most complicated (main focus point) element of the shot.
  19. Lame. It would be no different if you had it in the tank and he found out afterwards. Either ask up front or no bitching.
  20. Thanks Farkas. I'll definitely let you know. I thought about it after posting, and figured (as you pointed out) if it were a coil pack... I'm sure it would drive a little differently to say the least.
  21. Thanks guys, definitely appreciate the help. I feel a lot better now. Neon - huge thanks in advance. Just let me know if that's possible, and what your favorite beer is.
