  1. There were some nice ones when I was in Charlotte. Dayton tried to get some decent gatherings going but the retards always show up and get it shut down before it gets too big.

Yep, generally speaking, it is the dickheads with junk, foreign cars or the diesel trucks that start the stupid shit that either shuts it down or causes those with nice rides to pack up and leave.

While I have nothing against a work in progress, foreign cars or something with a diesel in it, these goofs are usually high or drunk doing stupid shit, and the kids with the diesels think it's cool to cover nice cars with soot.....

That said, this cruise in is every Friday night, in Bevercreek, on St. Rt. 35, it is in the Lofino's grocery lot and the old Eastgate Ford lot. Lofin's is usually grilling and selling food, the Bob Evans next door walks the lot and takes orders to. People start rolling in around 4PM, and leave 8,9,10, or so.

  2. I usually have a couple claymores rigged up on motion detectors and just keep the phone near the shower. People know to call before they come over. If someone trips a claymore, they weren't welcome any ways.

I assume your joking about motion sensors, scary enough rigging those with trip wires. I would love to see the circuit that your using though if you are actually rigging the detonators with a motion device.

  3. After watching a couple Hot Rod "ROADKILL" episodes on YouTube this past weekend, I was looking at used '02-'05 Crown Vics for sale. NOT SRS, just having fun.

However, I noticed a couple of buy-here-pay-here dealers in Columbus (AutoTrader, Craigslist listings) that had multiple police-prepped Crown Vics (one had 4, the other had 10!) that were all around $3-5k and had 100-120k miles on them.

Dealer/Auction guys...are ex-cop cars reeeeeeally that plentiful/cheap at auction? I'm guessing that these guys are buying them for a song, seeing as how they are presumably getting so many of them, and making money at $3k a pop...

I said I wouldn't seriously buy one, but if a decently-maintained Crown Vic could be picked up for less than $2k...;)

You can buy decent ones fairly cheap, OSP cars have 1 driver their whole life, as do many departments. I have bought some fairly decent ones for less than 3k.

One thing to keep in mind, idle hours, Ford claims each idle hour is equivalent to 33 miles, I have seen a lot with 10k idle hours and another 120 on the clock, buyer beware.

My old cop car look alike beater.............

  4. My non legal advise: You can be sued anytime over anything. Doesn't mean they will win the case though.

^^^This^^^, you can be sued for anything, that doesn't mean that common sense won't prevail. I would contact your HOA and advise them that she has paid you a visit, I would also suspect that she isn't suing the HOA, it's all bark and no bite.

What I would do....... contact your local police or Sheriff's office, I would file for a restraining order and pursue harassment charges. I had a neighbor like this once, sometimes the above may seem like a dick move, but it is all some people understand. Good luck, let us know how it turns out

  5. Current law in Ohio says that if you install a 31+ round magazine in a semi-auto firearm it becomes equivalent to an "unregistered machinegun" as defined by Ohio law.

Yep, more BS from those in "control", wanna buy some Beta C mags? ;)

I guess the ending will look like what happened in Cali with Dorner....

  6. This has been SOLD!!!!

As the title says, I found this squirreled away today, I have -0- need for another AR, so.... it is for sale or trade, cash, $500, I would prefer another handgun, preferably S&W, 2-3" barrels are preferred. Would love to pick up a short barrel Ruger Alaskan & would expect to throw in some cash on that deal. But will consider about anything

Obviously, this will be a face to face transfer.

    Pictures..................

  7. Would this be the LMT MRP?

An MRP used to retail for $1600+, but can easily fetch north of $3K at the moment. The standard Defender 2000 (no MRP) should still fetch close to if not more than $2K. If you really need to get rid of it, don't settle for low ball offers. It's a high demand, high quality rifle.

    MRP w/ ammo = $3500 to $3750

    Defender 2000 w/ ammo = $2500

That should be a very fair market price at the moment. It's not a Bushmaster you're selling.

At those prices, mine is worth 6-7k, good grief!!

  8. I guess for now they're going to be staying the Miamisburg area, which appears to be quite a bit south of Dayton. That said im fully expecting them to purchase a house either there or somewhere else near Dayton in the next year or so.

How are the Cops? Slimy sneaky bastards like the Highway patrol? or laid back and chilled out like CPD? - not that I get into alot of trouble but Im always driving something sporty and tend to speed/get pulled over a decent amount, anymore I usually just get let go with a warning.

Also looks like 70 to 675 is going to be the best way to get to Miamisburg, how's the traffic? Should be going back and forth alot here in the next 6 months as the family has been out west (1800 miles) for the past three years.

South is good, Washington Twp. or Centerville are pretty nice area's, Springboro is just a little further to the south, and it is nice as well. Lots of OSP working 675 as of lately, watch your speed, 20+ over will get you stopped for certain..........

I have -0- issues with the Sheriff's office, never been stopped by them.
