  1. Uhhh no, the latest rage..... naloxone parties, everyone goes out and buys a kit or two, then..... we have a heroin party with a designated person to revive those that OD. I have seen plenty of OD "victims", many had been brought back many times before the final fatal time.....it's pretty sad that such a drug can get a hold on people in such a way...........
  2. I did just the opposite, I kept my F350 and bought a low mile street appearance police package Crown Vic, 4 doors, good handling, passenger car amenities, with all the heavy duty accessories.....brakes, suspension, sway bars, cooling, and, if you drive it normal....20-24Mpg. I'm into my 85k mile ride for $4500, and that was with going through everything, brakes, fluids, tires, some cosmetics and a clean up. GovDeals is a good starting place. The hunt is half the fun.....
  3. Roll the dice, a one in 30 chance of fraud......over a couple hundred dollars, I'd rather not have to deal with the "what if" scenario.
  4. That's ok till the state calls the seller and questions the amount.....been there, done that. Not worth a few dollars to avoid paying taxes. If your going to flip cars, that's just part of the costs involved.
  5. I bought a commercial Gravely this year, they had a 20% off sale, saved $1400.
  6. I have bought and sold cars on Ebay and CL, I have bought off autotrader, never had any luck selling. I recently sold a Vic on CL, first guy bought it, it was not a cheap beater, sold in 3 days.
  7. I pm'd you on cv.net, I have a set of wheels/tires
  8. I have a Crown Vic I've been DD'ing, 2004, 87k on it, it came from our crime lab, I knew the only driver. It is a police package but has the street appearance package, meaning cloth, carpet, power seat, cruise, trac lok, no spot lamp, no holes actually, if this might do it for you, pm me, I'll shoot you some pictures.
  9. This................ http://www.rubberflooringinc.com/
  10. While I agree that this is what one would feel like doing........ In reality, it will score you a menacing charge if not a aggravated menacing charge. I would invite him back, and waste a lot of his time, I would recommend concealed carry while having interaction with said individual. People are nuts these days, and I wouldn't dismiss someone using this guise as a ruse to case your home.
  11. I have some Boston Acoustics sitting in my garage.
  12. Years ago, a buddy of mine had a gun shop, he would order 100 raven 25 autos, he got them at the time for $23 and change each, we would take them to the gun buyback(s) for $50 each....... oh the good times.....
  13. Had those on a Vic I DD for a couple of years, 4 seasons, did OK in snow if you drove like you had sense. No complaints about them.
  14. ^^^^^THIS^^^^^ screw the FB bs, I'd tell all those neighbors(his pals) to go eat a bag of dicks. If he wanted a community fence, he should pay half, otherwise he can go fuck himself. Besides, what will those neighbors ever do for you? I can tell you what mine have done to me, but not for me. I've been here for 25 years, some of them have been here longer, but they know where the fuck I stand.
  15. I would imagine if the property didn't have straight lines, they would mark it as such. The company I used was recommended by our county engineer, I figured there would be -0- questions if it came to going to court, as I used the same guy our county used for measurements. As far as cost, it shut my neighbor down with his bullshit. It would have been worth twice that, and, at that point, I didn't care, I knew where my line was, but my asshole to the north wouldn't let up.......he's still butt hurt.
  16. Look up "land survey" in your yellow pages, or, you can call the city where you reside and ask who they would recommend, I paid $350 a few years back to have my pins marked. Generally, they will only mark the 4 corners, not the lines.
  17. At this point, your best bet is to A) get the survey done and the pins marked B) let the city or HOA deal with it, people are truly nuts, sometimes they need a dose of reality, i.e. the governing body to come out and tell them that they can't do what they want to other peoples property. You could always take YOUR fence down, forcing him to put his own up, it would be a win for you.
  18. I feel old now, graduated high school before you were born......
  19. Before you go off and step on toes....... are you 100% certain where the property lines are? Did you go find the pins in the 4 corners of your property? If so....proceed, if not, either call a surveyor or go locate the pins yourself, then ask them to move their fence, if they won't, call the city, the city may very well tell you it is a civil matter, just FYI. I just had a similar occurrence, the guy behind me put up a property fence against my chain link fence 12 or so years ago, they are odd, so I just said fuck it. But then his POS started leaning towards my house and putting pressure on my fence. I had my property surveyed, found out he was 10" on my side of the line on one end and 12" on the other, my city told me it was civil, I asked if because it was on my property, was it considered mine, they told me yes, I then asked for a permit to have a recreational fire, they came out and told the fucker to move his fence. I think they saw through my plan.....
  20. I take the shot no matter what..... No family, I'm good to go.
