    Used Oil

I agree 100% and have seen those exact issues when I was in the plant and the service guy was there. They always just blamed it on the filters clogging and not being maintained... but the fact is the "bugs" couldnt consume it all. thanks

    E85

Hmm. I guess I'll plan on hardlining in the future with stainless. E85 was planned after I purchased all this hose and is just a thought at this point because of its everywhere over here. Plus I already have 42lb injectors to support it. I would like a switch to be able to go between tunes though. i.e. Gas + E85.

    E85

search didnt bring up much... what are you using for fuel lines? Not trying to start a debate here. I'd like to use E85 as well and I have braided cloth over rubber -8AN from Russell Performance. Just curious if the ethanol will eat through it.

    Used Oil

OP: I noticed you mentioned Aqueouis based parts cleaners. Are those the type that use micro organisms to help break down oil based products? One of my customers has two of these in theyre shop and they work pretty decent. No harmful chemicals and it smells pretty decent. They call the micros "bugs" as a common catch phrase. Just curious.
  8. Yep. If the paint touch up work is done on the SS. If not I'll be in jail.
  9. Thats the kind of stuff I dream of. To me it says quality. I wonder if you can commission a carpenter to build pieces like this, Heirlom quality if you will?
  10. Ray couldnt hook for nothin on Rd 2 qualifying. Tires went up in smoke.
  11. Here's a link to represent what I have to sell. My parts are brand new and un used. My price also includes the ride to your destination of choice. http://www.prwonlinestore.com/stainlesssteelgmls1rollerrockerkit-0234611-1-1-1.aspx I will also be including guide plates and studs. and these: http://www.prwonlinestore.com/gmlsseriesaluminumvalvecover-polished.aspx I used these for mock up and quickly found that I would have to use taller valve covers, well the valve covers cause me to have to modify my alternator and the mounting on my corvette engine accessories. However these roller rockers could be used with .5" spacers and would be fine. Price is $250 any questions feel free to ask. Thanks.
  12. I have one also and honestly it is my favorite plinker. Trigger pulls smooth on mine though.
  13. Only one of the my flanges are straight. It was minimum and I think I got a good seal when I tightened them down. However the cover height caused an issue with the alternator, plug wires, heater motor box etc...not worth it. Of course I wouldnt have to have those if I had stock rockers....

    Cruise????

After the dyno event on the 23rd might work? Just an idea as a couple of us are coming in from out of town for it.
  15. That'll work great on the Sonoma as I have corvette accessories on the engine. Thanks! I guess I'll use the one I mentioned earlier on the Camaro.
  16. Do they allow for 1.8 roller rockers? These ebay specials that I have are causing four other problems, they gotta go. Build is coming along very nicely man.
  17. Will the midget provide his own collection bottle?
  18. I need a good recommendation for a catch can. I will be installing one on my LS6 Sonoma and the other on my L99 2010 Camaro. I have this off the Camaro5 forums but Im not crazy about its internal design. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109416 Thanks in advance.
