Why do you think the Honda Cog is fake? Reading about it many places mention that it was filmed in 2 takes and spliced together when the muffler rolls across the floor. Even if it is not fake, it was still fantastic. That second is just awesome!

I bet it would take similar amounts of time whether you render that in Photoshop or with a real art medium. I am sure they used some kind of Wacko tablet or something on that. Still a lot of skill whether it was done like that or done by hand. Both take a long time, speed up a hand drawing and I will watch it.

They only say that it operates like a 2 stroke in principle of how the parts move. Interesting concept, but I agree with Draco that there is almost double the moving mass (although no valve stuff).

I just checked and HPDE is still open. They added more slots, I emailed Dave about it. There are not many left. Cold is good, good for the turbo, inter cooler, tires, everything! Much better then August when the temp is 95 and probably 120 on the track, at least in April, nothing over heats.

It is open to register for NASA Mid Ohio Track Days!! They are April 9, 10, 11. It is ~$200 for just Friday and it is $370 for Sat/Sun. That is 4 sessions per day at 20-25 minutes each! I put over 180 miles on my car from the track alone last time for 2 days. YOU DONT NEED A FAST CAR! Just any car that is in good mechanical order, of course a sporty car is a plus, but I ran my fiance's 03 civic coupe with all seasons once. Enjoyed the Spidermans, Batmans, Punisher, Xmens, Hulk with Norton, Jumpers, and even Dare Devil. I did not like the Fantastic 4, that was bad. Nothing beats out Alien, Predator, or Terminator 2. I too would be worried with hooking a aftermarket unit with your Bose system. A lot of times they put mini "amps" in with the speakers that an aftermarket unit might not work with. A friend had this problem on his mid 90's Ford. The mini amps caused a lot of alternator noise and all the speakers had to be re wired to by pass them. They are expensive. To be honest, who is going to put it through what it can handle? After watching how touch it is with off roading, it is super hard to find tracks like that around here (if any). Just like making your car a track car makes it no fun to drive on the street.
