  1. I have been to Jackson's up on Northwest Parkway on the north end of Marysville. They are a fantastic mom and pop type shop that is a little expensive, but they do fantastic work. I know at least 3 co workers who have gone there. Did a wonderful job on my car and worked with me on price since I did not have collision. 2. Someone go test drive this beast! I want to know how the power felt. Oh and check it out, automatic!
  3. This was through NASA and they will be doing it again in July and August. Cost is $360 for the weekend with 4 20 minute track sessions per day. http://www.nasagreatlakes.com/season/
  4. At the last track day in Mid Ohio there was a professional photographer there taking pics who I was finally able to track down. Here are some shots running in HPDE groups. Had a great time. I posted some videos a few weeks back, but these are neat and really show the car moving. You can see my camera stuck to the window behind me. I like the last one the best. http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/MidOhio/mr2track1.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/MidOhio/mr2track2.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/MidOhio/mr2track4.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/MidOhio/mr2tracksti.jpg
  5. That is not cool at all. Taking advantage of a person for an extra thousand is one thing, but really? Poor lady was mentally retarded and they took advantage of her.
  6. And for those of us who have a job? I guess we can afford to buy our own lunch!
  7. There were people there. That building is not a place which seems to have a lot of people. Places like Grand Central are a better venue for this type of activity. I will that that college girls are hot!

    Clownin

I have also heard bad things about the quality. That circus bike looks terrible.
  9. I bet they can reflect off the chrome wheels! http://www.tripsmarter.com/travelcommunity/attachments/pcb-general-discussion/733d1079020561-spring-fling-car-show-neons.jpg
  10. I met this guy at Mid Ohio. He is a great guy. Just needs to get some better brakes and tires for the next Mid Ohio session! Nice to meet you Brian and welcome to the cooker! You look like this guy with your open face helmet on! http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/itzkoff-650.jpg
  11. I can try, where are they posted? What are you looking for? I made mine below.
  12. Man that looks total Redneck and scary to do!
  13. So something going to be planned for another weekend? Not a fan of the speedball. I don't want to spend $100 on paint only to have it unbroken laying on the ground.
  14. That is just nuts, love how the people are getting alcohol out of the flood. When you look at a car, you should pull the carpet back to check for flood damage. Most places can shampoo and clean a car up good so you can't tell it was in a flood. I heard that if you pull up some of the carpet, underneath there will be stains and possible rust from the water. This was on a warning that came out back when Katrina hit New Orleans also.
  15. +1 to no belt conditioner. Those things run 10+ years without any "conditioner". I would not bother to change it. Although if you do break the belt, you need a head and possibly some pistons. You will still have to spend the $300 for a new belt, so $700 total then.
  16. A random bolt. I lost a wrench on my bleeder valve for 5 months once, till I crawled back under the truck and took it off. Need to take a picture next time you find a mouse in there.
  17. Ummm. . you can't do that. They recycle the oil. I know that the local AZ and Advanced check the used oil for coolant and water. They don't let you dump that in with the oil. Trying to do the right thing and not dump it down the drain or put a bowl out on the sidewalk for the dogs who shit in my yard.

    Blackle

Blackle was a great idea back 5-10 years ago when people were still using CRT monitors. Today, not going to help.
  19. I got a dry socket too, sucked. Keep that area cleaned out well. Cottage cheese is good too.
  20. Do they both have worm clamps? I can tell the return line does. Either way, I always wonder if a car is done right. I have seen so many hack jobs on simple stuff like fogs or even sub woofers. I would not want to tear into someone elses project.
  21. Slap me down for the first run at 12 and my friend Ben will come and go at 12:30. It should not take us long. Just getting some base numbers without much tuning.
