  1. That looks to be a good deal. I am no "computer guru" or anything but that's everything you need except for a graphics card, monitor, keyboard and mouse to my knowledge. Usually Newegg is very good about selling compatible items and I would go for this if you are looking to build a computer. The ratings on all the items I checked are pretty good. That's a high powered relatively inexpensive desktop. The power supply is included and the case is expandable if you want to add more hard drives/blue ray/ etc.
  2. Copied from Sprint. Just make sure you are picking up 4g/ wimax and you are good. # 3G coverage nationwide: 5GB/mo. in total or 300 MB/mo. while off-network roaming. Additional monthly usage over 5GB while on network costs 5¢/MB and over 300 MB while off-network roaming costs 25¢/MB. You can check your usage online anytime. Sign into http://www.sprint.com/mysprint and click on see all usage. # Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred. See what you can do with 5GB a month on a 3G connection plan.

  4. I would certainly hope so. Like to see it sooner rather than later, ya know? If this thread is really about zombies that would be the replacement of a person with the idea of a consumer. Then all you have to do is convince them that they have all of these different options to consume and they can pick any one they want. This is the illusion of freedom.
  5. This is the way to go. Eat real food, not reconstituted, hydrogenated, processed and assembled corn and oil.
  6. I am not aware of any change to text at all. It sounds like there may have been some confusion about what plan you have though. Unlimited is unlimited and any us numbers and shortcodes** count. This plan is included in the cost of your minute plan. 59.99* for unlimited messaging and 450 minutes. There is also an add on option to a regular minute plan that provides unlimited m2m messaging but provides a various amount of out of network messages per month. This has been the way of things for a few years at least. Ne2 was for most people 30 or 50 bucks and personally I don't like that move but it doesn't really bother me that much. These "data rules" only seem like a protection for their business. It doesn't seem to say they are actively pursuing and throttling people, just that they reserve the right to do so. There could be some virus that is causing issues so they can try to minimize impact to the network itself. This is only my take on it. *From VZW.com **Some shortcodes have a monthly recurring cost
  7. Truth Drugs don't take themselves and they don't force their way down peoples veins. With a more educated populace and it not being a crime to acquire drugs I think we will begin to see the rise of a more logical and mature society.
  8. What does that matter? The fact that an idea is not "one's own" does not inherently make it flawed or less valuable of an idea, this is only a trick. The true question is "who benefits?" Ask this question in any situation and you will begin to discover how things really operate on this planet. Many people know but don't care and choose to remain ignorant.
  9. To be honest I have never really thought about it before so I'm not sure quite how I feel about it. The card itself is kind of obsolete and I bet it costs quite a bit of money/ time to create and maintain them. All our info is in the police database anyway, not to mention on facebook. They look it up to verify if they stop you. I am also against texting laws and all this business as well. We already have laws against reckless driving so why micromanage it?
  10. Let me be clear here. I am not saying that we should abolish drivers certifications. I am unsure if I view driving as a "right" or not because I don't think that is really as simple as an issue that people like to make it. All I am saying is that it costs money to print these things and replace them and what not and we don't really need the physical plastic. There could be perhaps a "suspension list" or something like that. Having a card in my possession does not in anyway relate to my driving skill or lack thereof. You will notice this by looking around as you drive. I can see where they guy is coming from and I find his ideas interesting although possibly not the most practical in our current society, that is all.
  11. That's the way the world currently works....You are correct.
  12. This guy actually makes an interesting point. What stops anyone from driving anyway? Do the police not pull over people all the time that are driving on a suspended license? In a better world we could depend on other people watching out for other people on the road and elsewhere and not on an arbitrary plastic square that costs money and time to create/ regulate and somehow means that I am safely operating this equipment.
  13. I somewhat agree with what you are saying but I don't agree with how you are getting there. I agree that people should not go to jail for hurting themselves (I am not implying that all drugs are harmful to ones health) but depending on the situation some sort of rehabilitation may be beneficial. People DO pay fines and it is a large generation of revenue for the Government so why would people all of a sudden stop paying fines?. Forcing rehab on someone could be beneficial but not usually with a profit motive in place . I am not sure what you mean by "ignoring" it? If you are referring to legalization it would by definition reduce the crime rate because possession, use, cultivation, trafficking, etc would all cease to be against the law. This is not to say that real crime or violent crime will go down. I believe it would though. If elimination of crime is the ultimate goal than we would need to limit inequality in our society to the best of our ability and that is not going to happen in Western society until the monetary system collapses.
  14. 2g look>1G but 1G performance> 2G. That car looks clean from what I can tell and they have definitely done it right. The only problem is that it is a DSM and that = Headache.
  15. Is there anything you are unhappy about with Verizon or just some trouble with your phone? Have you called them to see what options you have? Doesn't sound like Verizon's fault your phone isn't working and you may want to give them a chance to fix it.
  16. Quite a bit going on in here but I am for the complete and utter legalization if all "drugs". I am also for the much needed overhaul of our prison system as well. It is a silly thing to try to control peoples behavior by making drugs illegal. Marijuana is not illegal today because of damage caused by it. The history of marijuana in the US has been the subject of many documentaries. People need education not incarceration. The prison system in the US is corrupt, like just about everything else but would be so much less crowded with people not going to jail for growing, selling, or using a plant that grows from the earth. Should we arrest people that grow tomatoes? It is ludicrous to think that making any drug illegal actually helps anyone/anything. If people want it, they will get it. I would rather people get a hold of reliable and relatively safe drugs than that Mexican ditch weed anyway. The only people benefiting from the illegal status of drugs are people in the business (growers, dealers, distributors) and the Government. Don't think for a sec that the Government doesn't have it's hand i the cookie jar.
  17. I despise norton and mcafee. They are way too intrusive. Don't open emails from Nigeria and download porn from unknown sources and you are good
  18. Install Titanium Backup and you are good. It is for rooted phones and there is a free version. Once installed you can uninstall anything off your phone as well as back up all your apps. Truly one of required apps for rooted phones.

I completely agree with this and all I am saying is that tradition is not above questioning. We can't think like this as a population if we want to constantly better ourselves. Nothing is above questioning, not even this sentence. I don't know if it was Pete's idea that the courtroom is a public place so he should be able to wear a hat, but it could be argued. He may believe that he has the power to wear a hat. I agree with this completely which is why I would not purposely protest in this way. Pete and his group seem to be very divisive among the area where they operate. I don't really car about wearing hats in a courtroom but the right to wear a hat in a public courtroom is an important debate as it entails public vs. private property including a taxpayer funded system and constitutional rights to a public trial.

I am actually not saying any of that. They didn't have to take of their hat, again it was a sign of respect, not something that one HAD to do. I think you and I both know the analogy proposed is a bit extreme. I don't follow the drugs in the hat comment though. I was not referring to respect, I was referring to tradition. These are two different concepts although they do intermingle at times. This guy does not show respect to the courtroom (arguably why should a courtroom deserve respect as it hasn't "earned" it) and also refused to comply with tradition and in this case entrenched tradition (rules). It is a tradition to say something when someone sneezes. This tradition has no inherent value as the reasoning for doing it is now obsolete. I understand that it was ultimately the refusal to leave that got him arrested. There ought to be no questions as to the facts of the matter as they are pretty cut and dry. I was only challenging the reasoning behind the "no hats in court" rule in the first place. If we agree that no hats are to be worn in court, and the court has the power to enforce this, than what happened to the guy merely follows this chain of reasoning. It's 2011 and we (at least some) understand psychology and history and I am simply questioning why it is a problem for someone to wear a hat inside a building the first place. We do not blood let and drill holes to let the demons out anymore, come on guys.

I'm not sure who's post you are referring to because that is obviously not mine. It would do you good to try reading it again maybe?
  23. I have always had my tint done at Quality Window Tint and the customer service has always been fantastic. My cobalt has 15% for the front and 5% for the back. They didn't rush me to pick out what I wanted and were courteous in answering any questions I had. Mine was 199 for all but the windshield and includes a lifetime warranty.

If our country is doomed it is not because of people refusing to take off hats, it is because of people who do not question what is going on around them. The tradition of taking ones hat off started because men would hide guns/weapons in top hats and it was a sign of respect and trust to remove ones hat when entering someones home. I can follow why this tradition would have extended to a courtroom as well but we have to understand that tradition doesn't have some inherent value that we must preserve. We can preserve beneficial ideas and throw out the unhelpful or unnecessary ones. Also you state that you value removing your hat because you were raised that way, why is this a reason to value anything? I could have been raised to kick people in the shin but that doesn't make it the right or honorable thing to do.
