  1. I know and that has always baffled me about my people. It should scare you that even though we have a low pain threshold and cut easy we still want to participate in violent sports. Go figure, a people that are a mix of Celts and Vikings.
  2. Hmmm...gym that is mostly chicks...trying hard to see the downside. I'm really trying to get some kind of $ guidance before I walk in there and get the sales pitch.
  3. My workout partner is a girl and I just want to get in shape. I'm not serious about boxing by any means. I'm Irish and we are bleeders ya know?
  4. The person I train with wants to join TBC @ Polaris. But, they appear to be one of those places that guard their prices. Has me turned off already. Any experience on here? Up side is proximity to my work as I could walk there.
  5. I enjoy Recoil but haven't seen the latest copy. I'm very much opposed to any kind of weapon restrictions. So as cool as that magazine is...I'll stay away unless they dump this guy.
  6. not a good year for college football in Pennsylvania. Looking at PSU's schedule...can't say I'd pick them to win any given game. I mean, they have to at some point, right?
  7. Game is tomorrow. We have other plans and need to sell. 2 tix, side by side section 4A. Alumni tickets don't require student ID. tickets are in-hand. I at least need to get face value: $150. I work in the Polaris area so we can meet-up near here if you contact me soon.
  8. Wow, that is about as far from the spirit of that car as you can get. fugly and it looks like the strategy was to put as much weight behind the rear wheels as possible. I think the 'dyno queen' comment was spot-on.
  9. +1 Oh and yes...Wally World has deals with many manufacturers for many of their products to make specific cheap versions for their store. I don't personally think Remington would play this game with them...but buyer beware.
  10. :gabe: Looks to me like a Toyota econo-ute dressed up to justify double the price tag.
  11. Ya, that 'festival' setup seemed to be a last minute solution for having way more demand than their permits let them house in their other configurations. Dawes was awesome, btw. Mumford did a great job. The other bands were OK. Atmosphere was as good as can be expected for a parking lot. The older I get the more I feel like I'm back in high school at concerts with that level of security/police presence.

    yhm lower

That kinda makes sense based on the extra $ for those brands. My YHM upper has functioned flawlessly with a variety of ammo so far. Based on how long it takes for them to turn around orders...I bet they aren't big enough to compete for government work.

    yhm lower

I built mine with a YHM upper and Spike's lower. If the upper is any indication of quality...you can't go wrong with YHM. They are top tier. That comes along with higher price and longer wait times, of course. My upper took about 2 months. A buddy of mine ordered his and it is taking about the same.
  14. The Suby badge had to help with grip a little? No? Must have been 'cuz he covered it with tape. Had to be. It's not just a Scion, right? :gabe:
  15. We are going. Wouldn't miss it. I really like this genre. Avett Bros, Punch Bros, Mumford, etc.
  16. IMHO that wheel/tire combo is a large step backwards in the looks department. Needs to be at least +1 and then a mild drop. Not sure about these cars yet. Remind me of a genesis and every one of those I've seen in person are falling apart already.
  17. I took the Rider's Edge program at Farrow. I'd definitely recommend it. I know it is more money but you can get right in and for me it is right down the road from my house. The Harley propaganda content was brief. The instructor/student ratio was 1/3.5 which really helped. Was like having a personal coach.
  18. I guess I meant street bike. Can a mod fix it for me? I'm so embarassed! :gabe:
  19. Just picked this up last week. My first road bike. Had my first ride last night. :megusta: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8430/7742793564_5fb78f2524.jpg new bike by harmonda, on Flickr
  20. That's an Ergotron unit. We used them for Server shelving in data centers for years before everything was available in a rack-mountable form factor. There are tons of options for those things...monitor arms, keyboard pylons, etc.
  21. Everything I have from YHM is very high quality. I use Magpul furniture. Lots of cheap crap out there. I built my 6.8 myself and love it. I'd recommend doing your own build. It is pretty easy and a very satisfying experience. I had my Saiga custom-built but now I want to order parts and build-up my own AK. So, I say...go the DIY route. Lots of folks on here have done AR builds so you shouldn't have to buy tools or anything.
