X2. Every shop I've worked at or needed tires worked on charged extra for 18"+ rims. Typically a tire repair like that is always a half hour labor. We must be overcharging because people keep coming back when they need emergency fixes??? :dumb:

Probably dismount the tire, patch from the inside, and rebalance. 45$ is normal for a tire repair. Glad it's all getting takin care of.

Like I said. I made a very long story short.... We did what we did for a reason. Just sharing some pictures. And you don't see mine on tussing yet. I bought a house out there but I don't move until this weekend. Is it black or silver? I have a friend with a black srt jeep that lives out there.

I would demand a new wheel. Tell them if they're not willing to replace that wheel you will be contacting a lawyer about the time that you've spent messing with this issue. Other option is to take it to wheel medic and have them do it RIGHT and stick this shop with the bill. And find out what shop they've been using so we know not to use them.

Bet it wasnt a 94 seville... I couldnt get paid 500$ to take one of those.. But I agree, you cant expect much for 500$....

I used paint thinner to take off dried bird crap and a scuff on my mirror.. as long as you wipe it on fast and wipe it off fast your good.. Then wash it off and wax that spot..

I can see why a tire place would be in business before the snow hits. it's hit and miss. I did 32 hours flat rate mon, tues, weds, 25 hours yesterday. Last week? No where near that. I personally know someone at about 8 shops around Columbus and we all talk about what work we have during the week. And it's all been slowing down.

Also not a bowtie, but worth watching..
