I did a hybrid between craigs and nismo's recipes.. Its slow cooking right now, and already smells good.. Going for spicy chili

I think your on the right track. Try to look up a wiring diagram. Or scan it to see if there are any codes. Could be something as simple as a fuse. Easier if the car was in front of us.

Shit my buddy drives his all the time in the rain... As he says "He bought it to drive.. not to sit in the garage clean" Only thing he hates is going to a car meet up with a dirty car.. haha

Thats funny I have the same setup.. Cobra (I forget what model) And a lil wil antenna.. Mines peaked and tuned and gets out pretty far.

If your really interested in getting one, go to a cb shop.. They will hook you up with a great CB, peaked and tuned.. Antenna, and even hook up the SWR meter and tune the antenna.. WAy better than just buying a bunch of parts and putting them on.. you wont get out over 2 miles..

Not sure if its really what your looking for.. But I bought one from meijer to do my night shots.. It closes up to like 12" But extends to 46 or something? Very light weight.. was 19.99.. Works fine for me..
