Can we get a list of car shows going for this weekend? Maybe we can meet up and cruise to one.. I heard there is one in westerville on sunday.. I always see the "end" of the car show when I cruise around on busy weekends like that..

Its recommended because your already in there and its just more parts not much more labor.. And it never hurts to replace parts before they are broken on a interferance engine.. If thats the case then you would be looking at 150+ In parts, plus coolant.. 500 isnt that bad of a deal for all of that.. But knowing a mechanic could save you 1-200$

Hey dipshit. Before you call someone out read his post. He just wants the timing belt done. I can get timing belt kits for 50$. Is it recommended to replace the water pump and pulleys? Yeah did he say he needed that done? No. Dbag. I also said I think it's around 50 for parts. I didn't give an exact quote.

Calls for 2.7 hours to do.. no engine removal I normally do Tbelts on hondas for 160 plus parts.. i think its only like 50$ in parts.. Let me know if you need someone to do it..

Take the belt back off.... move the crank back to TDC, and align the cam and slide it all on.... Put the bolt back in and turn the crank 6 revolutions and make sure its still in time.. I personally want to say that is a interferance motor.. which means if anything is out of time the valves will hit the piston.. But Im not a honda expert, ive just done a ton of timing belts and maintenance..

Im not gonna lie, that video really makes it sound like the timing is off or the valves are bent..

You need to put your car on a dyno and get a custom tune... Canned tunes are nice, but to make everything work together.. you'll want a custom tune for your car.. Pricey.. but worth it.

The part that the crank sensor reads off of.. Did you remove the crank sprocket? Or did you just remove the timing belt? Its a very basic setup.. Crank at TDC and cam with marks lining up with head.. Unless this is not timing related at all and has something stupid to do with the distributor.. Kind of hard to diag over the internet.. If you were closer to westerville I would come out and check it out for you..

Suprisingly alot of people dont see that. Run the cover on and cut the wires. Only takes an hour to do a tbelt on the hondas. Just rip it all back off and go over your steps. You did put the crank sensor ring back on there right?

did you pinch the crank sensor wiring harness? No engine codes?

No but there were alot of modified cars. Now it's just who's fastest. It was an actual car show. Show and go. Then a cruise somewhere. Those that wanted to race could. Those who wanted to cruise laid back. That's what the difference is.
