Also what are the symptoms? Does it go into limp mode right as it's about to shift into a certain gear? How long does it take to act up? seconds? minutes? Does it shift fine in all gears for a while only to go into limp mode once it warms up? I know it sounds stupid but have you checked the fluid level/condition? does it smell/look burnt?

I think you guys are getting transmission "flushes" mixed up with a true fluid-change. Flushes routinely destroy transmissions because they kick up all sorts of shit that has naturally settled over the course of the vehicles life. This crap then gets re-circulated throughout the tranny and often leads to failure a short time later. A simple drop of the pan then refill w/fresh fluid shouldn't harm the trans.
