  1. I bought one a couple months ago at Dunhams Sports. I mentioned AAA and there was a 10% discount on it. Though I see it's gone up from $749 to $849 now...

They had a couple left when I was in Mansfield a couple weeks ago. Also Family Farm and Home had several different models in stock up there as well.

  2. At least yours seems to be oil pressure related. Mine ended up destroying the back side of the engine (threw rockers, broken valve and broke a cam cap on the intake side). Took it apart to find a bad new tensioner, had a burr on it not letting the tensioner do its job unfortunately :(

Did you end up replacing the oil pump all together? I found Melling or maybe it was Cloyes saying not to change the guide on the oil pump for the timing chain on the crank or not to unbolt it as it can cause the oil pump to un-seat/seal (their youtube vid mentions this).

  3. What made you decide to go with a 4 post vs 2 post? I'm asking because I'm having a garage built next month and plan on getting a lift fairly soon after. I've been trying to decide which would be the better option.
2 post hands down if you're only getting 1 lift. The 4 post is great for oil changes, trans swap, exhaust, ect but a pain even with a lift jack with the ramp in the way for wheel/suspension work.
  4. Parts from an 83 K30 115k miles. Frame was toast, pulled the truck apart.

    454 Big Block $750

SM465 with PTO and transfercase, no bellhousing, shifted fine $300

Divorced NP205 bought for a project, told it needed seals, never used $75

Driveshafts $100 (for super long wheelbase)

Also VW BEW TDI 300k, timing belt not long ago, needed glow plugs, never ended up swapping to an offroad rig. Complete with harness and ecu ran when pulled. $500

All as-is, all worked when pulled, clearly should regasket.

All are obo, might consider trade on motorcycle, bangs, LS, 67 camaro body parts, ect.3e17cbbf1e0852af5384c1c7aa3b7b8a.jpg13384e1cdba9f6bdfe8bbaf4699ff792.jpgce03079a110cd34a1b7f1104294bbd5d.jpgdaf993b04eed51aac64fee880825e46e.jpg663fa6047ca5e6b022b5e14f0eca4383.jpg

Originally I picked this up a few months ago to make an autocross car out of as the body is in pretty decent shape other than the paint having seen better days.... I had planned on dropping in an LM7 and running it but I have too many projects at this point and no need to let it set around until I never get to it...

Runs and drives, Eibach-Sportline Springs, some rust (Dr floor board has more it appears) fairly clean for an 87 or better than most I've seen, interior definitely needs work, speakers are missing ect. I have driven it down the road and back, runs/shifts, doesn't really stop... No exhaust, rear brake leak, junk tires aka bring a trailer. Tried to take as many pics as possible, this is a project as-is.

    SOLD!

  6. Someone stop me if there is a better way, but I have always left the stock crank bolt in a couple threads and used a 3 jaw puller to remove them. I use a threaded rod from Fastenal m16x2.0 with a washer and a nut to pull it on (lock the crank from moving). Always works for me.
  7. i wish and thank you. way too backed up on car projects to even think about another car. Still haven't touched corolla, have to rebuild suspension on e36 vert, and then get the g35 ready for sale.
All good! Hopefully the projects and sale go well!
  8. I should have bought your talon when I had the chance.
I think we've all done that at some point, Wish someone closer still had her, miss that car...

I do know where theres a pretty clean (think theres one dent and no rust?) 91 AWD, manual, stock engine, bigger turbo, low boost, ACT2600, 3" exhaust Talon setting if you're interested.
