Thought I had this sold, guy backed out. Can't edit the original post so Price Bump $3200obo.

My full time job: job sucks, pay is mediocre, no set start and stop times (salary too so company phone), PPM, virtially no one cares there any more. So picked up online C# programming classes to try something else, see where it goes!

 

For side jobs: working on cars is fine, trimming and cutting down trees is great, construction really ain't bad, using heavy equipment is always fun!

Yeah an XJ or ZJ would be much more ideal for a first vehicle and if something were to happen to it it's not a huge loss, either can be had for $2500 or less for a decent one. Likewise agree the CJ/YJ/TJ steering, HCoG, and short wheel base doesn't lend itself to being the better option above being "cooler". The lower mpg isn't great but having 4x4 that goes just about anywhere any time of the year is hard to beat.

02 VW Jetta GLS TDI Manual swapped

282k, Kerma stage 2 tune (MBC set at 18psi), runs and drives great, good tires, 50mpg highway 45mpg in town! EGT and boost gauge, oil pressure gauge (not hooked up).

 

New within the last 10k:

Timing belt (pulleys, tensioner, ect)

Water pump

Camshaft (had some wear so just replaced it while I was in there for the timing belt)

Front and rear main seals

IDparts VR6 clutch kit

Turbo

Injector nozzles (502)

Full exhaust

 

*I have all the previous owners maint records as well.

 

On the down side headliner started to fall in the back and from the manual swap the cruise control clutch switch doesn't work (cannot clutch it to stop cruise control!) but cruise control works fine otherwise, fob lock/unlock does not work, paint fade on roof, great car overall.

The GGSX? Yep, sold her a few months ago. All DSM's are gone, sold both Jeeps, TDI is for sale. Vette and Camaro stay, trucks cummins needs swapped into something else or at some point at least. Looking for an 06/07 Forester or Outback XT apparently the wrong season to do so....

Finish the cage for the Poor-Vette kart and hopefully not only do some AutoX but make it back to Mid-Ohio.

 

Maybe I can actually get the Camaro restoration underway and start replacing body panels. However unlikely I'm still optomistic....

Any one looking for or know of somewhere that would buy a large lot of rack enclosures?
