So wait...we are clumsy but you've dropped your phone 3-4 times? Put it this way: you're just plain lucky it hasn't broke. All it takes is one time to drop a brand new $600 phone (replacement cost) to trump all the times you went without a case. I'd rather spend $50 and decline insurance. My Iphone 5 is literally mint. The case is fucked, but the phone itself is 'off the shelf' condition. A worthy $50 investment to me since I'll get more for the phone when I sell it (perhaps even $50 more).

My dad's s3 screen cracked the 3rd day he had it. He dropped it in his car (on the carpeted floorboard) and it literally shattered. I got the phone yesterday and it is slim as hell. Makes me nervous.

I read the reviews for the Otterbox Defender and they are horrible, citing fitment. What case is everyone using for the 6? Mine came in today (projected at October 7th, woot). I've had the otterbox defender for my 5 since day one and it's literally mint condition.

I just did that, I still got a weird thing when I rebooted in regular mode (after doing safe mode and removing everything downloaded today) but otherwise it's running good. I think I am good now but if not, how would I do this? First time in years. Clearly something is wrong.

Popups everywhere, my formatting is all off and it seems like this random shit will pop up and go away, almost like coding, leading me to believe something has infected me. I GET an upgrade because part of the monthly bill I pay constitutes an upgrade every 2 years. Why not use it? 5's are going for $250-300 on Craigslist and I paid $354...so for $50 I can upgrade my phone. I don't need an upgrade technically as my phone is totally fine. But I also don't need a lot of shit that I have, as I'm sure is the case for everyone else. The people waiting in line like retards are just that, but again, I am eligible for an upgrade, so I got one. If I can't retire because of that, then I have other problems to worry about in life. On a side note, I bought an Xbox One because my 360 failed, not because I couldn't live without an Xbox One.

Some of the people are pretty retarded about these phones...I have a 5 and have had it for 2 years so it's time for an upgrade. I'm not an upgrade fanatic or anything, I just want my phone since I paid $354 for it. For the record, I had an Android for 4.5 years before switching to an iPhone, but have stuck with the iPhone for my last 2 upgrades because to me, it's a pretty solid set up. I know it lacks behind in technology sometimes, but the support and ease of use is a pretty big advantage. But I do know what you mean, some of these people are fucking idiots about this stuff.

I don't get why the fuck I have to wait until October 7th for mine, I pre-ordered it early on day one, paid in full on Verizon.com (it wouldn't let me into my account on the Apple site).

I put a bid in on a house yesterday and told my wife last night...she wasn't happy, ha. Looks like it has begun (4 month anniversary yesterday too). FWIW, it was a rental that'd she would have nothing to do with financially/liability wise.

Geeto- thanks so much for all that info. I will swing by my parents house tonight, but I am 99% sure it is the original engine. The previous owner was the original I believe, and he just did minor things so I doubt there was any kind of engine swapping. I'll also confirm the interior, but again, I'm 99% sure the teal interior is original. I believe I am registered on a Tbird forum for a years ago so may post it up there. I did google common rust areas and checked those prior to posting, all good to go there. It has AC but does not work. Parents don't know the cause. Thanks again, awesome info.
