I didn't see another thread for this so if there is, please let me know! Anyway, last night kicked off the start of the new season and it was a pretty entertaining game. What is everyone's thoughts on the upcoming season? What are your teams? Etc. Me personally: I am a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan and am pretty stoked for this season. The preseason (yeah, I know haha) showed a lot of the new offense under Hue Jackson and I'm pretty excited for it. With our schedule, I'd be happy as hell to go 11-5 but I am predicting 10-6. Huge game on Sunday against Baltimore. I am a much bigger Buckeye fan, but the NFL is peeking my interest much more now that the Bengals are doing all the right things (although I am a 20+year fan) Thoughts?

Lots of people run without front plates, just note you can get pulled over for it. Some considered it a luxury tax if they get a ticket for it (around $75 I believe). I've heard stories of people getting pulled over for loud cars, but I've had some loud ass cars and never had a single issue. It's hit or miss really, depends on the mood of the copy if you get pulled over. Lots of places for meetings, keep your eye out on here. C&C is pretty much every Saturday and a lot of gatherings on Friday/Saturday nights as well. When you can see the whole forum you'll definitely see events.

They're separate I have DirectTv and AT&T, they're totally separate for billing and truthfully, most everything. They just have a discount affiliation.

Guy at my old work had a Ridgeline and LOVED it. Always told me he would keep it until the wheels fell off. That being said, if you can swing the BMW I'd do that, but if you are okay with sacrificing some things, Ridgeline all day.

Mine started at $35 a month too with DirectTv. Last month was $96, I called and they said I upgraded to the Extra package. Pretty sure I'd know if I made a damn phone call and upgraded, and I didn't. My bill has literally been different every month for the last 10 months. Always fixed when I make a phone call, but they are shady as fuck. It is seriously ridiculous.

Love that last one haha. I really hope we beat the hell out of VT too. It sucks they didn't crack the top 25 (somehow they always seem to be ranked or close to it in the beginning of the season). It would have looked much better beating them even ranked at 25. Oh well, a win is what matters right now.

I am paying $114 a month for DirectTv entertainment package (2nd lowest) and AT&T Uverse's fastest internet and it makes my asshole pucker up. After football season I am canceling DirectTv. Done with this crap

Totally agree. I definitely understand the need to keep it simple for a new QB, but seeing the same stuff from last year gave me vivid nightmares of our last 2 games. Overall, I think it was a good offensive start to the season, I just don't want to become one dimensional. Looking forward to this week. It should be another great test to this team. If Navy goes 10-2 or 11-1 and VT finishes decent (8-4, etc.) then we will have had a very solid non conference.

Did you have a big bowl of douche this morning? A lot of teams don't rely on their QB as much as we do. Like Alabama, auburn, etc. and some do, like FSU and TAMU. I have an opinion that relying on one player as your entire offense isn't good. If you don't like it, sorry. This is why teams have success and then fall on their face when they lose a player. It doesn't mean we can't win, or be good, or blah blah Blah. But to me, we rely too much on one formation.

You're right, I'm not a big fan of this offense, or really the offense we have run for the last couple years. I don't think we cover the middle enough with our receivers and our offense is totally one dimensional. We banked on Braxton for nearly every play. Clearly that's shown by our struggles today.

I'm getting really tried of the same fucking play by Ohio state. That "fake" handoff where they do it sometimes and don't do it others. It's annoying and doesn't do anything to the defense that is beneficial. We seriously look like shit. And it starts at the coaching.

This is the stuff that pisses me off. #9 gets taken down by #21. So next week, TAMU will be #12 and SCU will be #13. Each will win a couple games and be in the top 10, and then all of the sudden lose a game, repeat. They'll both end near the top 10. I don't get how these teams start out so high. SCU looked like a bunch of idiots trying to fuck a door knob last night. Not the #9 team at all. But, the SEC idiots won't say SCU is ranked too high, they'll say TAMU was ranked too low. It's a revolving door.
