  1. Lol. The engines are fucking heavy. I found out by slidding a 7m out of my trunk and onto my hand.
  2. 1uz, 2jz, 4g63, 2.2/2.4/2.5 Dodge 4 cylinder engines, F20c, Toyota 1-fz, ford 2.3, SR20 det.... There are a ton of options. If you want a simple and cheap setup a 2j is hard to beat.
  3. BTW, Gahanna fireworks are still scheduled. Apparently the article was in response to the July 4th festivities being cut from the budget and having to be funded soley by donations.
  4. Last year over in Polaris, there was a shit ton of nice cars driving around Quaker Shake area.
  5. I'm calling bs on the article. I was told from a Gahanna City engineer that it cost 25,000 and that Heartland bank had stepped up and paid $20K of it. The rest was covered by donations. Unless something fell through. I still don't get though how taxes are higher in Gahanna and the collected business revenue is back up to 2007 levels, yet the city is so broke. I honestly can't even imagine how much they blew on expanding the high school. Grant it I will catch crap for it, but the old school cement/brick buildings were fine. Public schools are not intended to look like some college campuses and is only their to provide basic education. The rest is up to the parents. Elaborate campuses and single use sports facilities should not be funded by tax payers. If education is such a priority for certain parents, then they can make the sacrifices and send their kids to private schools.
  6. You're actually right. I shit you not, Shaquille O'Neil had a wooden from bumper that had ingraved Shaq Daddy in college.
  7. No shit. I though drive in were all gone. I will have to adventually take the family.
  8. I would check with cbperformance or go to the http://www.cal-look.com forums and ask around there. The cal-look forums is one of the best old-school vw sites to blow time in.

    Ryan Dunn = Dead

He obviously broke the drunk driving rule. Keep drinking until you see odd numbers of one thing, then aim for the one in the middle. In all seriousness, it's too bad he is gone and I doubt any of us would have done things differently. Tons of cash, fast life, funny guy on the block, and famous. Too bad it ended the way it did.
  10. I have driven and owned a few Dodges over the years... 3 stock neons, Spirit R/T, Dodge Omni GLHS, and I personally would pass on the Caliber. The neon SRT-4 has an engine that has been in the works since the 91 Spirit R/T, is rock solid, tons of aftermarket support, and easy to work on. People fail to forget that Dodge had turbo 4 cylinders in the 80's and have 3 decades of research behind their turbo 4's. The big problem is finding one that has not been beat to death. Also, don't expect to have a comfy long lasting interior. The cars are meant for fun and thats it.
  11. wow, that's pretty rare for supra's to show up in ohio
  12. Grant it, we don't know each other.... It takes alot to stand up and move forward the right way
  13. We will see how serious the NCAA is about obeying the rules. Maybe that have to bring in BYU to runs things and make the hard decisions. Also, fuck ESPN. So much of the their breaking reporting is nothing but opportunistic crap.
  14. Awesome pic of Scott Hull. I can't imagine the stories people would hear over a few grams with him.
  15. It's on the main page of http://www.cnnsi.com and http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/sports/stories/2011/06/07/pryor-skips-senior-year-ohio-state.html
  16. I would reason that #1 is why you wouldn't go to a rave in Missouri.
  17. I saw one on the road today. It's not bad and simply done. Nothing can be uglier than then new mazda's.
  18. I saw a white newer one one the way to downtown Columbus. It was still n/a.
  19. Meth has a ton of advantages. Get your new rods/pistons in the engine and get it retuned.
  20. Honestly, fix it yourself. If your going to be getting more serious about cars, may as well start learning. Taking it to the garage is convenient, but the labor cost add up quick.
  21. An easy option, is to: 1. Pull your motor and do head gasket, bearings, valve seals and piston rings. 2. Drop springs, camber kits, and bushings. 3. Cheap turbo if you want to spend all your money. You wouldn't go broke and you would have a car you could have fun in.
  22. I stand corrected. It's amazing the easy the Viper and Vette ran those times.
  23. Why start over with a different car? With 2,000 you could drop in a sr20 with a turbo. and still have cash left over.
  24. Boost Logic is 7.59 at 189ish. They ran one event to reset the record. The car was MIA for quite awhile.
