  1. I'm actually going to give a serious response this time around Buster. Don't buy a SRT4. Go with either a 1st gen Neon, Shadow, Omni, Horizon, etc instead. Everything can be swapped over for a fraction of the price and the majority of SRT4 Neon's now are clapped out pos.
  2. the melt lost my business for two reasons: removed burgers from the menu on the grilled cheese and the wait is stupid long even if you call in. Their bacon grilled cheese is good but not worth the wait when I can make it at home in 10 minutes.
  3. just stumbled on this adapter kit for 2z>VQ trans for 1k. not sure if you saw it: http://www.maverick-motorsports.com/products/jz-vq-transmission-adapter-plate
  4. l36tols1, you are correct that it will take both sides and I do agree that even with education, minorities will still experience some form of intimidation from police. Hell my dad still gets pulled over for basically driving while black in a Mercedes here and there. The thing is that he is polite, answers questions, and shockingly its a non-event and isn't thrown on the ground. He knows it's the occasional profile and that it comes with the territory. So it will still happen, but it the communities are refusing to address any internal issues then it will be ground hog day over and over again. cdk4219... given i get the worst farmers tan known to man in the sun it varies throughout the year. lol
  5. Pretty much. Keep in mind I'm half black so it's not some racist point, but the inner city black communities refuse to look at their own. Instead of protesting police brutality, how about protesting/going after the influences that causes the behaviors which leads to low education, lack of skill, and behaviors that justifies the stereotypes against them. You could give away free education vouchers at the riots and few would take it but it's always the mans fault.
  6. you are correct but it doesnt change the point
  7. It's a win win for the hospitals. They get to say that they help the needy for feel good stories and the rest cover the bill. My sister in law was a nurse at a hospital in Phoenix that never turned a patient away due to cost. They were bought out and they are now cutting everything possible to stay afloat. I knew it wasn't going to go well with health care cost when I tested a perfect score (20/20) for my health exam 2nd year in a row and my cost still went up $60-70 a month. At the end of the day, I can't blame the poor people completely since life happens good and bad. Our society is based on immediate satisfaction, fast food, and sitting around watching tv/video games and the nation's poor health is the result of it.
  8. good to know about the rubber tiles. Are you able roll an engine hoist with an engine on it?
  9. I recently put a garage door insulation kit from menard's and it was a noticeable difference. Before I couldn't get it semi warm even with two space heaters. Now one is enough. The laundry room is attached to the garage and then the kitchen. Now that part of the house is not 5-10 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. Parents also did theirs in the two car garage in Hawaii and now you don't sweat to death during the summer while in it.
  10. i was thinking the same thing.

    Bike down

I'm pretty sure it was my co-workers brother that passed due to complications in the wreck. Just found out about it today at work. Guy had to be all of 18-20 at most
  13. trolling post to make funny's and accepted but old time troll's are run off into the sunset....
  14. Yes Hawaii got a big boost in playing OSU without question. The problem that all college teams in Hawaii face is the cost for colleges to fly their entire team out there with all the budgeting shortfalls colleges face today. Not all schools have the deep pockets OSU have and are barely able to keep their lights on. jump'n'jive.... I couldn't live in Hawaii now. The traffic has gotten too bad to make it worth it anymore on Oahu. They are 20-30 years behind on their roads and keep putting up new developments every year.
  15. On the flip side, the kids get to travel all over the country for free. They setup arrangements with their professors to stay on top of their classwork and it's well know before hand. The only real hard part for me was the transition from warm weather to cool weather and knowing when your body is warmed up.
  16. and their went BYU at the end. The conservative play call on their 3rd down in UCLA territory cost them.
