  1. may as well move this future shit storm to the kitchen
  2. It won't happen until the electrical companies can make a profit. In Hawaii, you have to pay 5k to disconnect from the electrical grid and all sorts of others hurdles to show how you not turning on the lights will not cause any damage. The laws may have changed, but that shows what current hurdles folks have to jump through even though it's cheaper and better towards the environment.
  3. don't encourage him. Next thing you know he will be bugging me to park his extra Fiero shell in my driveway
  4. If your okay with smaller tanks. Harbor Freight has them. I was directed to them by the welding supply store near Columbus State downtown. I was advised since I don't do it for a living, there isn't a need for a bigger tank, and save some money in the process. I can get there within 15 minutes during the day so it's an easy commute
  5. Shit that was quick approval and painless. Thanks
  6. Welcome to the site. Are you on turbo-mopar.com?
  7. l36tols1, please do not take this as a dig at you but I would rather deal with that than then a democratic party that has utterly failed the inner cities and black america for 50 years while promoting it's everyone fault but ours. I'm not saying I am a Republican, but I would rather vote for a shoe box than anything that follows the current democratic approaches.
  8. I hate to give this one up, but I don't think my wife would go for a 3rd project car given the garage cant be used. There is a 96 Sebring with 73,000 miles on craigslist for $1300. Could be worth a look at (I don't know the seller) https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5963116471.html
  9. GLWS. Looks like a clean ride
  10. With the way older cars are getting taken off the road, a parts car maybe the best bet. Its unreal how much has changed on the used car market in the last 5 years.
  11. Played tennis, went to the track to do sprints, and worked at home listening to inbound calls.
  12. It sure is when a close family member is on the Al Qaeda hit list.
  13. I have a hunch that France, Germany, etc are regretting there open borders. America is already hated so it's nothing new.
  14. I hate to say it, but I had a close friend have a Mazda 3 fall apart at 60k miles so I have admittedly stayed away from 2000's and newer since then.
  15. Thanks for the links Paul. I think I will have to see if she would be willing to go this route. There are alot of pluses given the fuel economy and mileage.
  16. Two booster seats luckily. They can all squeeze in the back of my neon.
  17. My apologies. Thanks for the correction and info regarding the engines
  18. It was a green WRX auto N/A wagon. It was from 96 and had 60k miles on it. I just looked for it again and it's not on Autotrader anymore.
  19. Thanks for the feedback so far. I did see the RAV4 above and thought not bad. I will have to run it by my wife to see if she would cave on the no mini-van route. I didn't anticipate to find Trailblazers with 70k miles for $8,000 so that maybe another route. I thought they would be more than that.
  20. My wife and I have gotten to the point that we need to move on from her Impala without going into debt after tax time. With as much as she travels for work between Columbus and Dayton, a lower mileage car around 100k miles and something RWD/AWD would be more peace of mind for her. The following year, I would take hers and then we would get a new car for her depending on if our financial situation continues to improve. If you wouldn't mind, can you provide some insight as which car models you would lean towards. Were not going the mini-van route and need a back seat that can seat 3, so Honda Elements appear to be out unfortunately. The models were learning towards are in no particular order from 2005ish: -CRV -G35 -Legacy or N/A WRX -Acura RL AWD I have noticed 1 out of 4 adds for anything Subaru related has servicing records that includes head gasket being done so I am not sure if that is an issue to worry about regarding the Subaru 2.5's. I did find a WRX wagon for 6k that had 60k miles but she flat out said nothing from the 90's. Thank you for you time and feedback
  21. Sounds like a great class. Are they going to have a lower class that has the same engine rules, back-half only, and has to use a stick?
  22. man thats a great deal.
  23. It may not be down town but Gahanna is a 5 minute drive from the airport and 15 min tops via james/broad.
