RWD 5 series....yes, I have Blizzaks. This is the 4th winter I have used them, and they *maybe* look 1/2 used...would buy them again in a heartbeat.
-
Yup, saw him at Five guys on Polaris parked next to a miata with a roll bar and a DeLorean with a car seat in the front. Must have been going home from lunch. Plate reads "ENZO WHO"
-
Pretty much my answer. I have friends who LOVE their DWS' so I think you will be happy with either of these. ^^

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=9 I've bought most of my Snap-on tools on here for very well discounted, up to, 50-60% off regular priced for lightly used. Just takes time to look through all the pages, or just search for what you want. Congrats on the new job and good luck!

This is true, but they put an 'additive' in the gas so you CAN smell when you have a gas leak. I wonder if the additive they put in the gas somehow leaked. I live in Highland lakes and did not smell anything.

True, but Holden vs Ford in V8 is like Ferarri vs Mercedes in F1.....the rivalry has been there for years, and it will be weird without them in the series anymore. Whincup and Lowndes will surely find a good drive once they've gone.....

OK, thanks for the advice.

My point being that the Dewalt 10" non-sliding is $219 and the 12" non-sliding is $179 right now.......The 12" non-sliding still does a 8" cross cut and 6 1/4 crown molding against the fence
-
Well, I stopped at Home Depot on my lunch and they have the 12" Dewalt on sale for $179 right now! So I picked it up. Curious why the 12" would be so much less that the 10"??? Am I missing something, or just found a really good deal? All the features are the same between the two, except bigger blade and bigger cross-cuts and fence cuts. http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-15-Amp-12-in-Heavy-Duty-Single-Bevel-Compound-Miter-Saw-DW715/100384715?N=c2d7#.UqixgPRDvyQ

Cool, thanks for chiming in, everything you said makes total sense. You wouldn't happen to know where I can buy just one of these wheels do you? http://media.ed.edmunds-media.com/acura/mdx/2009/oem/2009_acura_mdx_4dr-suv_base_fq_oem_1_500.jpg Not sure about straightening the wheel, any idea on cost? And would you trust a previously bent wheel that was was straightened, or just buy a used 'good' one?

The make of the vehicle will affect my answer....and yes, it's called a PPI.

UPDATE: Acura of Columbus found the following needing replaced: Right front lower control arm Hub and bearing (Bent) Wheel They wanted and astronomical amount of money for labor, so I am taking it to ZB and Todd at Sigmatec to do the work, and I am sourcing a new wheel myself, since Acura wanted $550 for a new wheel. Car should be done Friday, hopefully this does the trick.

The Kroger/Turkey Hill wash is really good at Rt. 3 and Polaris/Maxtown. The attendant will scrub your front/wheels/rear bumper before you go into tunnel and it does a good underbody wash.

For a DIY guy, how often do you cut larger than 9", and why can't you just use circ saw then?
-
Yea, but i've been reading reviews on all these saws, and the there have been plenty of bad reviews for the Kobalt and Hitachi, but I couldn't fine one on the Dewalt.........It's a $100 difference, just seeing if anyone has experience with them.....
-
Looking at 3 different saws for Home use. I borrowed a friends saw for framing in a basement, but the drywall is done now and looking to buy a saw for all the trim work and then as a general saw for around the house, etc. I'm leaning towards the Dewalt, but wondering if anyone owns one of these or has any feedback? Thanks! We are not going through insurance....yet. Have a $500 deductible, so I'm going to see what they come back with. I'm having trouble following what you're saying.....? ^^ (What dealership do you work at?) Wife and I drove the car to Acura Columbus yesterday to drop it off. I live in Westerville and we took Powell road to Riverside to 161 to drop it off so I wouldn't have to drive on the expressway....yea, it's that bad, but still 'driveable'. Went in the this morning at 745 to get it checked in, and then they will let me know what they find. I'll keep you posted on this wonderful adventure as soon as I have fun.......:fuuuu:

Well, I talked to a couple of family friends that work/own body shops(and read your posts). They said that newer cars typically have suspension parts now that will bend and break before the actual body does. So they said that, more than likely, a suspension piece is bent and I just need to determine which one. So we just picked the car up yesterday(no cutting was done) and will be taking it to Acura of Columbus to have them find which piece is bent so either they or I can replace it. Anyone have an qualms with Acura of Columbus Service? I'm kind of out of options at this point. I just want someone who KNOWS the MDX and can recognize what is wrong and tell me what needs fixed, no guess.
-
Well......something is bent, but it's nothing obvious like the tie rod assembly or control arm. The front passenger side has an extra 1.5 degrees of positive camber right now and the only way they can fix it is by elongating the holes to put the camber back to where is should be. Anyone see a huge red flag of why we shouldn't do this? I'm wondering if its the spindle or the actual shock tower that may be bent. Guy said I would need to take it to a body shop to put it on a 'frame rack' to see what is actually bent.....can anyone chime on on this? They need an answer from me in the next hour or so. Thanks again for everyones help so far!
-
Thanks guys. I'm going to try and just get an alignment done and see if that helps. I was most worried about the VSA light being on and possibly that she broke a sensor or something.
-
My wife slid her 09 MDX into a curb last night and knocked the car out of alignment and now the VSA light keeps turning on. I jacked it up and checked it last night and didn't see anything bent, but when you drive down the road straight the steering wheel is crooked. All the Acura and Honda dealerships can't get the car in today. Anyone recommend a place that is open TODAY to look at and work on the car. She is traveling next week for work and we need the car in working order.... Any recommendations???? TIA!

Thanks, told my brother about it in Toledo

No one has answered the OP's question yet. I'm curious as well for going rate?
