  1. /\/\ What he said. Smaller, lighter, cheaper = not as steady a platform, belt can slip occasionally, button adjustment sucks. If looking to save a few bucks, recommend checking out some good quality brands and then just scanning local venues to get one used. They will be much harder to find right now due to the pandemic.
  2. I found it personally helpful to make sure to be especially physically active in any fashion during periods of grief. Obviously only helps to a degree but a physically tired body can help cope with stronger emotions to a degree. Even if you aren't normally very active, go for a 3-4 mile walk or something regularly. 2020 sucks all over and I am sorry to hear of your situation.
  3. Valid point. I have a decent umbrella but I doubt it would cover something like that. I'd have to look into that as well.
  4. Good info to know all, thanks to all who pitched in. Sounds like it could be something that would be worth figuring out.
  5. I am looking at buying a nice property in a few months potentially, 5 acres of land with 2 houses on it, plus large detached garage and a barn. The detached garage could hold probably about 8 cars or so and the barn currently is being used for boat storage for a few folks but also could hold 8-12 cars if boats were gone. My question to CR is, what would be considered a reasonable monthly rate to store other people's cars at my property? Both have electric so could hook up trickle chargers and are insulated but not actively heated. Location is off Cherry bottom rd so 5 mins from Morse and 8 mins from Easton. Eventually I would be building my own home there and using the space for my own cars and a giant woodshop but that wouldn't be for 3-4 years and thinking of ways to utilize the space somehow vs it just sitting there. I've always stored my own fun cars at my house but is renting space like that out still a thing that people do? It would likely only be to CR or various car buddies, not an open invite to the general public as not about to have any potential drama introduced to my life over a couple bucks a month.
  6. Finally finished the living room remodel this weekend with a few before and after shots, taken from the same angle but 3 months apart. Now I can finally just enjoy the room vs always looking at what the next piece to build is. Aside from the couch, piano and one chair, I designed and built everything from scratch. Before... After! Thanks for looking...
  7. Usually when I shoot it's solo but when I do go with others, I just put a small piece of blue painters tape on butt of the mag so I know which ones are mine if they mixed up. And remove after.
  8. Nice! Hopefully that is around still when I get around to swapping the exhaust on my friends car.
  9. My eight year old is already convinced that he is a better driver than most. Ha....

I did like Elijah Craig a good bit last time I got a bottle of that. I will have to try 1792 next... thanks for the suggestions
  11. Are you looking to rent one for just a couple hours or all day? Just for fun?

If you like super smooth wheated, Larceny is pretty damn tasty. Ultra smooth but not a big finish I think. About $35 a bottle and usually can get it anywhere. It's a bottle in my regular rotation of stuff for at home as I prefer wheated but learning to enjoy some rye's more in the past year.

Such as what? Not saying Wellers green is the end all or best but bang for buck, it's damn good. I have far better bottles but for under $30 bottle crowd that I can pick up locally, I find it hard to beat but totally open to suggestions.

For the Wellers Green label, it's at Kroger on on Schrock in Westerville and I just picked up a bottle there about 45 mins ago. Guy said they had 7 cases they put out yesterday about 2 PM and down to 3 cases now so it will likely be gone by end of today. At the front register in the liquor store. Would have bought another and passed it to somebody on here but they would only let me get one.
  15. haha, I know that experience. I counted once on a project and I did 89 cuts on the chop saw for one small project to get it JUST right with fitment. I just hope that number goes down as I get better and better.

/\/\ Same. I check regularly on Wed AM when I can since they usually get the shipments out Tues eve / Wed AM. It's great bang for buck bourbon.
  18. Same here actually. I am far stronger then I was at the beginning and with a functional strength which is kinda fun. Didn't realized it until I easily moved a dresser all by myself recently which before I had always needed to get a friend to come help with.
  19. I get that. From what I've gathered, it is a rare person to like both cardio and weights. People usually like one or the other.
  20. Curious what CR members like to do to stay physically active as we all progress through life and age. Personally, I discovered I enjoy long distance walking and hiking, 12-15 miles at a time and once I got used to that, started doing a dozen simple push ups at the top of every hour from 9 to 5, M to F. Work from home as most do now and found it is a perfect 2 minute brain break from work. Alarm goes off on my Alexa device, stop and do my push ups and then right back to work. Done it for close to three months now with quite a significant change for myself physically. Struggled to do 3-4 push ups when I started and can knock out over 100 now in a straight shot. What do you enjoy doing physically? Everybody likes different things and I like gathering ideas of other ways to stay physically active aside from a gym.
  21. That's soo messed up. My neighbor's kid got a 95 Mustang GT with the 5.0 and just did a full exhaust and it's loud as shit and I love hearing it go by all the time. lol
  22. Oooffffhhh.... You aren't wrong. That is actually what got me into wood working. Had a pretty bad stroke back in August of 2019 and was off work for 6 months and couldn't read or look at any glowing screen so after my daily rehab sessions, I started fixing various minor broken things around the house and then just escalated from there. In some ways, I am thankful for it because I don't think I would have EVER gotten into woodworking if I hadn't had the stroke and inability to read or look at a screen for months on end and I already know it will be something I likely do for the rest of my life. Finished this last night....coffee table with hidden blanket storage as my wife is a freeze baby. And finished....the wrought iron hardware and black edging sets it off really well, way better than I was expecting.
