  1. I was there most of Fri eve with the boy, was quite the show. I cruised through 161 and Busch on the way there and the place was dead so looks like QSL is the spot to be now for Good Year cruising and burn outs.
  2. Ha, that didn't even occur to me. And yes, still very much highly enjoying it. Just got back from Tail of the Dragon with it couple weeks ago with Nick Boyd, attended a Slingshots in the Smokies three day event and drove it down and back. It ran flawlessly the whole time.
  3. That is also noteworthy. I added a full dose of recommended stuff for traction when we did it but even with that, when the floor is soaked (rain or winter) it's almost slippery. Walking is fine but I cant even count how many times I've seen my young ones fall on their ass as they ran into the garage and it was wet because I just sprayed it out or something....
  4. Agreed. The quality stuff (aka expensive) doesn't get hot tire pick up when applied correct (it's a process)....I keep one fun car parked in that garage and the wife gets the other side and is constantly in and out, with no hot tire marks or scuffs even.
  5. I've had the full epoxy with tons of flake in my garage for 4 years or so now and yes, it was very labor intensive. Professional painter friend of mine did it for me as he thought he may want to get into doing those floors as a side hustle but once we finished mine and did it right, he said screw that and went back to normal interior painting. I originally went with epoxy as it was the most durable of everything I could find but then realized after a year or two, it was slight overkill for the simple needs like most homeowners would need. Plus I'm generally careful when I'm working on stuff and don't dump entire pans of oil out, ect. I like the looks of epoxy for sure but if I was to do it again, I'd go with a clean simple Racedeck floor for sure and plan on doing that for next garage down the road.
  6. Where did you get those headlights? Project is rolling right along!
  7. What Cordell said. This is a good one to read. https://www.amazon.com/Engine-Management-Advanced-Greg-Banish/dp/1932494421/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=greg+banish+advanced+tuning&qid=1561639154&s=gateway&sr=8-2
  8. Sounds like the guy to get ahold of then, thanks! Appreciate your offer as well Otis, I may tap you as a resource just for questions as I figure this stuff out.
  9. For my house, current job is just patching some drywall and rehanging something (boy decided to hang off the towel rack in the bathroom and ripped it out) but mostly using small jobs like this as a testing base to develop a relationship with somebody I can get to know and trust to work with down the road on larger projects like being an on call handy man for property rentals I'm going to manage.
  10. Looking for any recommendations CR has for a reliable handy man. Looking to get a couple small things done around the house that I don't want to deal with and also using this as a testing ground for finding and developing a relationship with a handy-man who do the things I don't want or can't handle as I look to get into rental properties in the next year or so. If you know of somebody you've used in the past and who worked well, ideally had good communication with and they were priced fairly, let me know. Located in northern Columbus, not sure how geographic oriented handy men usually are.
  11. I got a quote from Car Max once and they definitely had the process figured out pretty well. Dropped it off, wandered around best buy for 45 mins, they texted and I went back. Overall it was laid out well but their offer was laughably low, even taking into consideration wholesale prices. But hey, I get it. If somebody walks in and IS willing to sell you a car for $3k which you could turn around and resell for $10k....Person that sold it is happy because they had a easy transaction and re-buyer is happy because just netted a few grand.
  12. First impression? No. I'll wait to see one in person before providing a second impression.
  13. /\/\ Exactly. People I know keep asking what diet I'm doing and are stumped when I tell them I haven't done one, I just cleaned up what I ate by a lot and now FAR prefer that type of food vs what I was having. Grilled chicken with some asparagus or grilled veggies sounds better to me now than a pasta and cheese heavy dish hands down.
  14. Good feedback from all, thank you!
  15. I would provide a recommendation based on actual experience but let him make the decision. Assuming he is paying for it...if you are paying for it, go wherever you like.
  16. Just curious to see of those on CR who exercise on a regular, semi-regular or occasional basis, what is your preferred method of exercise and how many hours a week / month do you do it? Gym, jogging / running, biking, exercise classes, what do you find works well for you? Do you generally keep an eye on what food you eat as well? Since Oct, I've dropped 71 lbs just by drastically altering my diet, intermittent fasting and walking a LOT. Average about 16,000 steps a day and started getting into long distance brisk walking along interesting trails, like the Olentangy river trail, going out and doing ten to twelve mile hikes couple times a week. And it's kinda scary how much more energy I have now. Thinking about stepping up my game once I hit my goal of 190 lbs which will be about a month away and wanted to see in general, what method of exercise do you find that you personally like? Or just hate less than other methods. :-)

    Whisky

Subbed for info. Just started learning and enjoying whiskey and bourbons last year, did the bourbon trail past summer and had a blast visiting 5-6 distilleries and learning all about the process.
  18. For summer tires I typically run Nitto 555 G2 and have for years on most of my cars where a tire like that is warranted. I def wouldn't run them year round though.
  19. I approve of this choice. Now if I could only talk the wife out of the minivan life....
  20. Sounds like a solid upgrade Clay. I'm in the middle of putting on a off-road downpipe and Bassani side exit exhaust on my Slingshot, pics to come once it's all wrapped up.
  21. Sounds good, just shoot me a text (614 620-5050) when you get closer to the time and we can figure it out. if you have larger items, sounds like Clay can take some stuff too.
  22. Oddly enough, I've heard of that too but never tried it myself.
  23. They are shitting all over the top of his vehicle parked inside it sounds like. That would mean instant war with me as well. lol
  24. That is one helluva DD. Very nice pickup. :-)
  25. Will you still be a regular at C and C? If something pops up unexpectedly that you need moved that fits in a truck with a bed cap, just give me a holler and more than happy to make a trip for you. Plus the bed is waterproof so rain wouldn't slow me down but does limit the height of items I can carry.
