OPS manager for a large disability company and handled FMLA for years so well familiar with just about all aspects of it. Your HR is correct, sibling relationship is not covered under FMLA. Usually it's for yourself, child, spouse or parent but siblings aren't covered. FMLA is typically used for two type of scenarios, continuous ( off work for a single, extended block of time ) or intermittent ( off work intermittently as needed, for things like going to dr frequently , getting medical treatment 2X a week, dealing with a chronic on going medical problem that flares up periodically ect ect ) FMLA wouldn't be used for a single instance of needing to call off once for a situation like you described, the min amount of time you can start a FMLA leave for for is 3 days continuous. Hope that helps.

Regardless if she is gonna go with tile / laminate, that's a stand up kind offer right there. Props to you Sir.

Ha, 8:42? Holy fuck, thats amazing Andy! Esp for first time around the ring! We did a similar trip four to five years ago and I pulled a 12.32 in an rental Audi. But at least I improved that to a 11:43 by the fourth and final lap....

You know somebody is gonna get fired over this....whomever inspected it and signed off.

Looks great, nice job. One of my favorite auto colors....

I would totally be down for that sometime. I'm a fair novice but learning quickly. Have a membership at Vance's and go about 1-2 times a month, usually on a random weekend night by myself as seems nobody who may interested can ever go.

American Funds is pretty good as well. Set up a IRA with them and rolled my wife's 401k she had prior over into that and been averaging lil over 13% over past couple years and they have/had some pretty solid choices to pick from. Just set up my kids ESA's via American Funds this year as well and was pretty easy process.

What's not to like about it? Fantastic car. Saw it at the Detroit auto show 2 years ago and it was breathtaking in person.

Usually Sat is the biggest night... but should be good turnout for Fri as well. I'll be out and about both evenings prob by 161 and Busch, shoot me a text when you roll in.

A to Z tint 614 863.0094 Done my past four cars and each one has been excellent and decent price wise. Granted, it's been 4 years though since had to use them so can't speak to if anything has changed.

I completely forgot it was the Good Guys / Arthritis show same weekend... Prob do Dayton C and C next time then...
-
Was thinking of going to check out the Dayton C@C and next one is this coming Sat on July 8th. Anybody else planning on rolling out to it? From what I have heard from prior attendees is that one would want to arrive fairly early, around 7:30 to 8 AM so meaning a leave time of Columbus around 6 to 6:30 AM.

Same. I've got a TON of pics scattered all over the web from years of PB linking and good number of them are only on PB. Fuck them. $399 a year? I pay less then that for my own website hosting!

Franchi's very blue F-150 and Mustang photoshoot!
Franchi replied to Franchi's topic in Pics and Vids
Indeed! I do love blue on vehicles... I think next summer I may get a Polaris Slingshot and get it wrapped in a flat blue, like a flat / matte grabber Ford blue or there was a blue that I saw recently on a Posche that looked REALLY good and if I can find a wrap color akin to that, may go that route. That would be pretty sharp looking I think. -

And then had a few done of the two together. Mach 1 looks TINY when parked next to the F-150...We actually moved them apart slightly more just because the size disparity made some of the shots look weird. lol http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0597_zpsjapm3rnu.jpg Just slight difference in height, even at a distance! http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0591_zpsfqskjybx.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0618_zpslsdzgpnn.jpg This was some old abandoned building that the city used to use for storing salt for winter roads...Surrounding area was a place where felt and looked like drug deals would go down on a regular basis. lol Funny enough though, there was a local PD sitting in his cruiser in one corner in the back lot by one of the factories and pretty sure he was snoozing away... Absolutely nobody else around or even close by. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0608_zps7egplkil.jpg I really like all the different blue's in these two... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0745_zpskvqtp1f0.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0717_zpsc6dfxbrp.jpg Hope you enjoyed! :-) -

Moving on to the Mach 1, I think the best shot is this one. Really like the reflection on the water and colors... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0633_zpsf9rejrci.jpg Good rear angle shot... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0664_zpsxw9mvlde.jpg Usually not a fan of shots that don't show majority of the car but I thought this one came out really well... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0672_zpsaryvhcoo.jpg Distance shot http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0627_zpsjimr2ev6.jpg Black and white http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0677_zpsrjmmg1vl.jpg Found a tunnel connecting a restaurant parking lot and street, was empty and NOBODY around until the second I parked in the middle to take a few shots, then everybody seemingly came out of the woodwork and wanted to use the tunnel.... lol but we managed to get a few good shots still there http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0693_zpsytzjn0aj.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0687_zpsf6a24dvz.jpg -
Afternoon all! Just had some pics taken yesterday with the F-150 and Mach 1 Mustang and thought some of you would enjoy seeing some of the shots and wanted to share. I am very much NOT good at taking pics, even the point and click pics from my phone are usually terrible and I wanted to have a few quality pics of my current vehicles and there is a local fellow car enthusiast ( Yasser aka RX7RCER09 here on CR ) whom I noticed had some affinity for taking quality vehicle pics that got posted to the local Cars and Coffee page so got ahold of him and he is working on to starting up a side gig with taking car pics to help support his own car modification habit and I am always in favor of supporting people showing initiative and drive and willingness to work and you see the end results below! I def recommend Yasser for anybody who wants some quality shots of your cars, easy to work with, very reasonable and the quality of his work shows below as you can see. Probably my favorite one of the truck... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0533_zpsz72de5u7.jpg I really like this one as well, think I may add this one to my website for the "About" page and replace the pic of the old 06 GT I used to have. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0704_zps9rzvtk3g.jpg Some cool lighting on this one with the sun and shadows... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0575_zps2sho7zot.jpg Distance shot... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0584_zpsjeu7mjr8.jpg Like how the other entrance framed this shot... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0541_zpsaed7lqgx.jpg Yes, that is a rather sizable front bumper... :-) http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0556_zpsbm0woefu.jpg And then a black and white... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0553_zpslvjfcaci.jpg I like the colors on this one, not a fancy angle / pic / setting but good solid shot of the truck http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/Yasser%20F150%20and%20Mach%201%20Photoshoot/DSC_0766_zpsi5dlmm9x.jpg

Giordanos has some of the best pizza I've ever had and every time I'm in Chicago for work, about twice a year, I make sure to always take my team out to it. Well worth it.

Just out of curiosity, how much does a service like that typically run?
-
Congrats man! It's always awesome to hear news like this. :-)

I have mine via work but several friends and family have used Zander Insurance and were very satisfied with their rates / services. https://www.zanderins.com/

/\/\ What he said. They did a lift kit install on my F150 few weeks ago and I was happy with their price and service. Just a bit of a haul out to Pataskala...

Was a pretty good turnout and had fun seeing some of the car and getting to talk to some folks for a while! Thanks to Brian for doing this for CR and everybody who helped put it together.
