  1. When my car gets finished its going to be a rwd turbo 4, nothing Ford about it . I'm thinking it could be a swapped car.
  2. I don't really have anything to add, but I wanted to say good luck and I hope things turn out for the best for you. I don't understand how someone could treat a family member like that. My family is dealing with something along the same lines you are (no drugs, just greed) with my step-grandmother. Problem is, since my grandfather died she got everything but the house, which is why she us mad at my family now.
  3. My car should be right around 3000lbs and I'm shooting for something between 400-500hp. The motor should be reliable at that level, other things would start breaking if I go to far past that.
  4. There is a Sears heating and cooling store down here on Cleveland ave. You could try calling them, there is a good chance they would have what you need. Plus they would likely be a lot cheaper than grainger, however if you have to go to grainger let me know if you want me to go with you, I could prolly get you at least a small discount.
  5. Yes, I saw this on tv, I have only been impressed with these engines since I saw that.
  6. I have had no luck getting ahold of Brandon, but if y'all wanna throw out some names of courses you would want to play, I can start making some calls.
  7. I'm assuming the car's fuel system is not set up from factory to be able to run e-85, and these guys are running e-85 without any changes to the fuel system (at least that's what I'm gathering). I don't know why they are complaining about it. It seems to me like they should have expected problems. After re-reading the original question, I would say e-85 would likely be to blame. The e-85 probably wouldn't break down a filter so much with it just sitting most of the time. I would think the damage would come from a combination of the e-85 and the fuel actually being pulled through the filter at the same time. I'm thinking there wouldn't be much (if any) erosion to a filter that was sitting more than it was working. I think there would still be degradation of the filter, it just depends on how often you drive the car that relates to how fast it is going to break down. This is just my opinion though, take it for what it is.
  8. 95 complaints (so far according to the link) out of how many sold since it's debut? As was said before, you can look up any car on the internet and find someone with a problem.
  9. This guy probably has a pretty good idea what his testicles taste like now.
  10. When I saw the thread title I was hoping it meant something different. Sorry about the car, but I'm glad nobody was hurt.
  11. I like my steaks rare to medium-rare, I usually crank the heat for mine and cook it fast. My wife likes them well done so I cook hers much cooler and slower to keep it from burning.
  12. Congrats on losing the weight. I have just started eating better myself and cut out soda completely. In the last 3-4 weeks I have lost about 16lbs. I started at about 274 and I'm down to 158 now. I as well have switched to turkey meats and I can't even really taste a difference myself. Also with just about every meal we are sauté-ing (sp?) green peppers and onions to go with the food. I never realized that there are so many things you can cook that are healthy to eat and actually have flavor.
  13. Damn Paul, your good at making lines for sigs. Anywho, I'll likely wander out tomorrow night instead of tonight.
  14. http://images.craigslist.org/3Fd3Jf3Hf5Ie5F15J7d5nc4473692881d1a89.jpg The snake sticker is peeling, -$10,000.
  15. http://www.worthingtonmemory.org has a couple pics of 270 when being built. They have a lot of other cool stuff too.
  16. If only the Russians would try something like this, it could be very entertaining.
  17. I can see 2 of the 5 suggestions to be serious (and possibly the GTR). And inb4thornederailsthreadwithbutthurtcausedbynamedropping.
  18. And none of these cars suggested were what he asked for either, what's your point? And yes, I realize some of these aren't serious suggestions.
  19. Depends on how far you would go to get one. If you don't mind making a trip, they can be found. There is one in Minnesota on http://www.dsmtuners.com in the classifieds section right now.
