I agree with Scott and Doc, by ricers I was referring to those who come and do stupid stuff (i.e. burnouts, revving, just generally driving stupidly in a parking lot). I definitely appreciate the rotation of people keeping the meets going, I just wish the people who cause problems for the rest of us would either grow up and act normal or just not show up.

From what I understand, it starts out with mostly just cr people in a new meeting place, then the ricers find it and end up getting it shut down. It would be nice though if we could find a way to keep the ricers out though.

I always use valvoline. I think choice of oil (when it comes to name brand) is mostly a matter of preference. As long as you change your oil at the scheduled intervals then they will all serve the same purpose.

I should have worded it better. When the term was created, there was no historical significance to it. It was a way to label a race. I didn't mean there was no historical significance to the word at all (again I should have worded my previous statement better). The point I was getting at is the words "honkey", "whitey", ect, they had no historical significance when they were created, but they were created for a purpose, to label a race, same as the n-word.

AFAIK, there is no real history to the n-word. I learned in grade school that it comes from the word negro, or black in Spanish. Now I know there are other slurs, but I don't really know any history behind any of them.

I believe there is a Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, iirc that's not terribly far from Virginia beach and it might be something the kids would be interested in. Also the historical part of Williamsburg was pretty cool when I went, but I don't know that the kids would have so much fun with that.
